Most people don't even know they're doing it wrong.
You rush through rukoo.
You barely touch the ground in Sujood.
You pop back up before your body has even settled.
And you've been doing it for years.
The Prophet ﷺ told a man - three times - to go back and pray again. Because what he was doing didn't count.
The missing piece was tuma'ninah. Stillness Calmness. Letting your body settle in every position before moving to the next.
Many scholars don't consider this optional. It's an obligation. Without it, your salah may not be valid.
The fix is simple. Slow down. Pause in every position. Let your bones settle. Feel the weight of the words you're saying.
That's where the real prayer begins.
