DEAR WORSHIP MINISTERS
LESSONS LEARNT FROM Nathaniel Bassey -Official SESSION:
1. He is never mesmerized by crowds. A psalmist who's mastered the skill to calm and quiet his heart even when crowds are shouting his name is a man that is ready to carry glory. He knows how to locate God beyond numbers. Influence, celebrity mentality has nothing on him.
2. He never introduced Himself, He introduced God. That first song is a spiritual gate. Asking God to take the stage means he is not in any way willing to compete with God on the pulpit. That surrender is why God shows up for him always.
3. After prophetic worship it's hard to execute ministration of the word because God is already there dropping tokens of His mercy and grace and He's set for miracles, signs and wonders because He's been given His safe place to be God. When He is successfully affirmed He comes to do what you said He can do through worship.
4. Anointings are territorial. When God feels secure with you as a psalmist He gives you nations as a prize. On the same space others struggled to breakthrough He took charge of the atmosphere so easily because God knows that this man won't let Him down. If God can know that you won't frustrate Him He starts giving you absolute dominion.
5. He knows how and when to be very personal with God despite the fact that he is doing congregational worship. He knows when to be a worshipper and when to be a worship minister.
6. When he told his South African bgv to release a sound from south and the bgv hesitated, Pst Nathaniel picked a South African sound immediately and released it because he was not ready to sabotage a divine moment yet he also covered his bgv that many didn't notice he salvaged a moment for God. He knew something of God was riding on the sound of the South or a vessel from the South and he executed that without any vacuum in between. Covering each other releases corporate anointing.
7. He can easily be calm and chaotic depending on the personalities of God that Yahweh is expressing through him either through singing or blowing the trumpet. A closet worship minister shares the personalities of God more than they express theirs. That's why he would break down and cry in one moment and the next moments he is bursting with laughters or whistles. He has let the personalities of God to find expression to the body of Christ through him. When blowing he is radical when singing he is calm.
8. He knows how to come down to the level of the people and a region and take off with them is something we need to learn about. That he could successfully do a Swahili song it takes humility. Going for people where they are at takes humility. We win people by going to them not manipulating them to come over to us. This is a skill that we need.
Please add more. Let's learn. Let's grow together.
