The sacred month of Dhul-Hajj has arrived. Today is the second day.
In it are the “ten nights” which Allah swears by in the Qur’ān: "By the daybreak and ten nights."
We pray it is a blessed time for everyone. Do make the most of it!

The Prophet, peace and mercy of God be upon him, stated, “There are no days more preferred by Allah than the ten days of Dhul Ḥijjah, and there are no nights more preferred than its nights.”

Eid prayers will be at 9.00 AM sharp, inshaAllah, followed by the khutba (sermon). Takbīrāt will begin at 8.00 AM.
Please arrive early. Extra parking is now available next to the masjid. Please do not double park or block the gate & entrance. Thank you :)

It is worth noting that, apart from the Chief Qadi's announcement, none of the over 40 members of the Council of Imams and Preachers of Kenya has reported sighting the moon in the country. Hence, we will celebrate Eid on Saturday.

In keeping with the directives of the Chief Qadi, we will hold Eid prayers at 9AM on Saturday, June 18, inshaAllah. All are welcome.

The Chief Qadi has announced on Iqra FM that Eid in Kenya will be on Saturday, July 18. The new moon was not sighted in the region this evening.
