Kenya Assemblies of God

Kenya Assemblies of God Welcome to the official page of Kenya Assemblies of God🇰🇪. We serve 59 Districts | 742 Sections | 4,879 Churches Churches across the nation.

Every soul matters to God. The Assemblies of God is one of the World’s Pentecostal denominations, with millions of adherents worldwide. It was organized in 1914 to promote unity and doctrinal stability among groups that had been influenced by the Pentecostal revivals of the early 1900s, revivals which were the result of a desire to see an increase in God's power in churches and individuals. Many people spent long hours in prayer, seeking a fresh infusion of the Spirit.

We continue to witness first-hand why the Churches Under the Tree Initiative matters.

Across Kenya, KAG is planting churches rapidly, but nearly 400 congregations are still meeting without permanent structures. Many gather under trees, exposed to the harsh sun, heavy rains and flooding. Without a safe and permanent place to worship, it can be difficult for these churches to grow and establish a lasting presence in their communities.

Through the Churches Under the Tree Project, KAG, in partnership with AGWM Africa, is working to help these congregations move from under the tree into permanent, dignified places of worship. These structures provide more than a building; they anchor the Gospel in the heart of a community.

We were blessed as we visited and fellowshipped with two KAG congregations in Turkana that currently meet under trees. We worshipped with them, shared fellowship, and distributed food to members of the community.

We are grateful to be here alongside our friends from Convoy of Hope, Jason McClafin and Greg Beggs, witnessing the need, serving our brothers and sisters, and believing God for what He can do through this partnership.

Our prayer is that, by His grace, these churches will soon have their own tabernacles, places where people can gather safely, where children can grow in faith, and where the Gospel can continue to take root for generations to come.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9

From under the tree to a permanent church. From a place of gathering to an established Gospel presence. We believe God is building His Church. 🙏🏽

"If we start building on Monday, they have a church by Sunday."
That's the pace the Kenya Assemblies of God is setting as they put up structures for local churches across the country. The Churches Under the Tree project is a partnership between AGWM Africa and the Kenya Assemblies of God building permanent worship structures for congregations who've been meeting under trees...some for over a decade.

What an amazing few days we have had at the KAG National Teens Camp 2026!

As we come to the end of this special time, we are grateful for everything God has done in the lives of our teens.

A big thank you to all our parents for entrusting us with your children, and to the KAG Teens Department leadership for the incredible work that went into making this camp possible.
We also appreciate the KAG leadership for continually championing the vision of raising and investing in the Next Generation, and our bishops and pastors across the country for supporting, encouraging and sending our teens to be part of this camp.

Most importantly, thank you to every teen who came! We pray that everything you have received during KUJIKNOW will continue to shape your walk with God, your identity and your purpose. Untill we meet again.
We are better together.

This year, we gather under the theme , a time for teens from across the country to come together, grow in their faith, discover who they are and understand their purpose in God.
We’re looking forward to a great time together and all that God has in store for our teenagers.
We can’t wait to see what God will do in the lives of our teens!
