Friends Church "Quakers" Langata Monthly Meeting The Langata Meeting was established in 1987 as a local meeting of the Nairobi Monthly Meeting that has its headquarters at Friends Centre Maringo.

The first congregants met at KWS from 1974 meeting in KWS offices for 9 years then later Langata Road Primary as allowed by the administrators then. The meeting was able to get property in 1985 and fully established itself at the current location in Langata. The meeting was elevated to a monthly meeting on 9 July 1992 and subsequently opened a local meeting in Nairobi West on 27 June 1993 and Onga

ta Rongai was inaugurated to be part of Langata monthly meeting in 2011. It covers the following administrative areas Langata, Nairobi West and Ongata Rongai through its three local meetings

The Youth Choir had a wonderful and memorable journey during the Inter-Churches Music Festival (ICMF) held at Friends Church (Quakers) Kisumu from 29th – 30th May 2026.

29th May 2026 – Choir Concert & Final Rehearsals
The team attended the ICMF Choir Concert and held final rehearsals in Gambogi - Vihiga County as preparations for the competition reached the peak.
