Blessed Sacrament Self Help Group Members save money every month & are allowed to apply for a self guaranteed loan or a loan guaranteed by self and others after 6 months of active saving

We have been in operation for the last 18 years and currently have more than 400 members drawn from parishioners of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with a share capital of 12,000,000/= and growing. Our patron is the Father Incharge who is also the Mandatory Signatory. The group is managed by 9 volunteering officials who are elected by the members during the AGM. We are share holders of the

newly created Caritas Microfinance Bank with a share holding of 1,200,000/=. Our main source of income is through our low interest on loans (1% per month on reducing balance). We also invest through Nairobi Archdiocese Social Promotion Trustees. In addition, We are in partnership with Credit and Reference Bureau through Caritas.
