*BREAKING YOKES*
_Key Text: Isaiah 10:27 – "And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and h from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be des
A yoke is anything that controls, limits, or burdens you against God’s will.
- *Examples*: Sin, addiction, debt, fear, stagnation, generational curses, delay, sickness
- Jesus said in Matt 11:28-30: “My yoke is easy”. There are 2 yokes: God’s yoke of rest, and the enemy’s yoke of bo***ge.
2. *Who Removes the Yoke?*
Isaiah 10:27 says the yoke is destroyed *“because of the anointing”*.
- *The Anointing* = The power/presence of the Holy Spirit. Not your effort, not fasting alone.
- *Jesus is the Anointed One* – Luke 4:18: “He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives”
- You don’t fight a yoke with willpower. You fight it with oil - prayer, worship, Word, and faith.
3. *How to Access the Power to Break Yokes*
3 keys from Scripture:
1. *Recognition*: You must identify the yoke. You can’t break what you don’t name. Psalm 55:22 “Cast your burden on the Lord”
2. *Repentance*: Some yokes come through sin. 1 John 1:9 – Confess and turn away.
3. *Declaration + Anointing*: Speak the Word + invite the Spirit. Zech 4:6 “Not by might nor power but by my Spirit”. Anoint with oil, pray, and decree: “Every yoke of delay in my life, break by fire, in Jesus’ name!”
**Prophetic Declarations*
Let the people stand and declare:
- “Every ancestral yoke, break now in Jesus’ name!”
- “Yoke of lack and poverty, you are destroyed by the anointing!”
- “Yoke of sickness, leave my body now!”
- “My neck is free, my shoulders are free, I walk in liberty!”
The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in you – Romans 8:11. The yoke has an expiry date: “in that day”. Your “that day” is today. Don’t carry what Jesus already broke
