The US Supreme Court has ruled that same-sex marriage is a legal right across the United States. Let us pray for the church in America and the world to stand firm in the Truth of God, that same-sex marriage is a violation of the word and the will of God.What are your views in this matter?

The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord. Lamentation 3:25-26. We at times get weary in waiting for the Lord, we feel that He has forgotten us. In all that you have asked of the Lord, wait on Him, He will come through for you in due time. His timing is different from ours for He sees way beyond the present. Hope and quietly wait for Him today.

But from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female.’ ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.” Mark 10:6-9. This was the the original design of God from the Beginning- Man and Female coming together, NOT man and man, nor Female and Female. Let us uphold the word of God irrespective of any culture that says otherwise. And the word of God shall never change. Let us be on God's side,for that is the right side.

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.. James 1:2-4. How many times have we prayed that God could put to an end the trials we go through because of the pain we go through,and we ask why us. God reminds us this day that we should rejoice in trials, for the desert experience is important to us because it builds our character.The life of a christian can't always be easy but at the end we become men and women who are complete in Christ. Take heart and rejoice during the tough times,for God is building you up for greater purposes.

So ask yourself are you fulfilling Gods' will in everything you do?It is the secret to a fulfilled life, living according to Gods' will.If you are in-tune with God,then He will prosper you ways and you will not feel the struggle that many face in life. To know His will and walk in it will bring you an everlasting Peace.

What are you believing God for this year? a nice house,a believing spouse, a dream job,children,lots of success? These are all common graces that even non-believers ask of God and are given. Why don't you stretch your faith and believe God for deeper things,stuff that you feel are out of your reach,things you know you can't attain by your own ability or strength. Let your faith in God take you places you never thought you could go.And above all believe God for deeper relationship with Him,then everything else will fall in its rightful place. Launch into the deep this year and let your faith work for you amazing things.

But the Lord said to Samuel," Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature , because i have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees;for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7. David was Jesse's Last son and even his father did not see him worthy to be called for sanctification by Samuel. He was out in the field keeping his fathers' sheep, totally out of the picture.But he was Gods' choice.Do you feel you are forgotten,rejected,unworthy or insignificant?Then you are a candidate for Gods uplifting.He choices things and people that are looked down upon,people that are despised and rejected and uplifts them to greater heights. That we may know its not our abilities or knowledge but by His Hand that we stand. The Lord sees greatness in you in your lowly state, let Him work marvelous things in your life,then you will know that it was Gods hand that upheld you and brought you that far,for the glory and honor of His Holy name.

So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.But when he saw that the wind was boisterous,[b] he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”
And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” .And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. Matthew 14:29-32.
Peter was fine when he gazed on Jesus but the moment he looked away he began to sink. It is another year that we thank the Lord for, the past year was tough on most of us and the wind was boisterous on us. We faced tremendous challenges that nearly made us sink. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus this year and have faith that we will triumph when sea bellows roll. Let us not doubt the power of our God. His presence in our lives makes all the difference.

In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18. This statement can sometimes be quite hard to understand and do. That we give thanks in everything; when in pain, in sorrow, in distress, when things don't seem to work out for us. We always tend to give thanks for the good things in our lives but not for the bad.But God wants you to know and find Him in ALL circumstances in your life. He is ever present even in the lowest times of your life. It makes us know Him deeper and to realize that He does not put off the fires in our lives, but walks with us through the fire. Give thanks today for what you are going through and may your eyes be opened to see that God is with you.

"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,'' says the LORD. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. Isiah 55:8-9. God is indeed sovereign, He does things His own style at His own time. Don't limit Him in your life or expect Him to do things your way. Gods' will always comes to pass.God works in ways we may not understand now and we may question Him a lot seeing that things are not going our way, but be rest assured that the end result is always for own good. In all the doubts, pain, sorrow we may experience, God is still working in our lives. Have a little faith, and wait on God. He will come through for you.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 Some of us may be experiencing tough times of pain and sorrow or grief due to losing someone close to our hearts, we may have many unanswered questions why this happened to us. But be encouraged and strengthened this day that it will all work out for good. God in His own wisdom allows us to undergo tough times to prepare us for His purposes. Don't give up! God will see you through and you come out a stronger person. Sorrow may be in the night, but joy will be in the morning.
