: AUTHORITY IN THE PHYSICAL BODY.
: Deacon Dr. Fredrick Mwaniki.
: Genesis 1:26-28.
.
• When God created Adam. He gave him enough authority to be left on earth as the god.
• The Bible says that God said, “Let us make man in our own image”, meaning there was a meeting between God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
• God gave Adam the kind of three-dimensional authority. This made God know there was no more reason for Him to remain on Earth.
1. First-dimension authority
• Genesis 2:15 shows us that Adam was given the authority to dress, keep and cultivate the garden of Eden.
• The enemy came to the garden and stood there cross-legged, studying how to deceive Adam.
• Adam rebelled against God and failed in the authority he was given.
• The devil took advantage of the three-dimensional authority to begin messing with God's creation.
• The beginning of problems in the garden was Adam.
2. Second-dimension authority.
• Genesis 2:16-17 confirms that God gave Adam instructions that all the fruits of the garden were edible except the middle one of good and evil.
• To be the lord over his lifestyle. Adam was not supposed to know how to die. Genesis 5;5 tells us that Adam died at 930 years.
• His authority was so strong that he spent 930 years learning how to die.
• Adam was supposed to live forever in two ways: spiritually and biologically.
• Spiritually, by obeying God’s word; biologically, his body was created by God to regenerate itself from 10-13 years.
3. Third-dimension authority.
• Genesis 2:19 explains to us that Ada was given the authority to name all of the animals.
• Adam was supposed to be on the same revelation with God; He was supposed to operate on the same level of faith with Him.
• Adam lost authority and was not able to use it anymore. Anything we do not use for a long time dies inside us and becomes dormant.
• Psalms 118:89 confirms to us that God has high integrity over His word. His word never changes forever.
• A covenant is a transaction between two parties whereby each party has obligations to fulfil after there are benefits to be accrued to each party, while the covenant remains legally binding.
• A blood covenant is the biggest covenant in this world. This means that whatever belongs to each party belongs to the other.
• Genesis 22:1-13 confirms to us that God tried to enter into a covenant with man through Abraham.
• Anointing and wisdom of God are the two things that make us legally bound to God. Abraham parted with his body and his son to be in this covenant with God.
• The body is there to receive wisdom and anointing from God. Abraham's greed to give his son symbolises God agreeing to give His Son for mankind.
• When man loses authority, the devil comes to take over the three-dimensional authority.
• Revelation 1: 18: Jesus declares He was dead and alive, holding the keys of the grave, death and hell. These are the keys that God lost in the garden.
• God gave Jesus these keys to save the world.
• 1 John 3:8 tells us that the purpose of Jesus was to come to destroy the works of the devil, who sins from the beginning, making him the father of lies.
• John 10:1-2 introduces us to two people: the devil, cast out from heaven, is known as a robber coming to earth illegally. The second one is Jesus, born of a human Mother.
.
• Jesus went to hell to rescue us by taking the keys that the devil had taken from heaven.
• Jesus rose from hell, overcoming the enemy, walking out untouched and in full power.
• Giving the devil one opportunity in our lives means he will destroy everything in our lives.
