It was hosted by our able WGCK Fountain of Life Ruai.

We had a great service...we were taught about The Person of Christ and today looked at the deity of Christ as well as what His death on the cross meant for us.

During the Bible Exposition we looked at Matthew 13- The parables of the Kingdom.

We also gave thanks to God for a successful term for our children.

The fellowship was awesome!

August is our Family month. Everything is centre's around the family. Today had conversations on Family Finances facilitated by Rev David Kangethe.

Keys To dealing with Conflict in the family - Rev Richard & Janet Chogo

1) We are all sinners; all families exprience a level of disfunction.
"The child God has given you He has given you the grace to raise them. Just partner with God to raise them"

2)You don't have to always win; choose your battles wisely, don't win the battle and lose the relationship.

3)Check your priorities; always love and put your family first, make adjustments to create time with your family

4) Manage your emotions; be ye angry and sin not.

5)Communicate life and not death; your tongue has the power of life and death.

6)Master the art of listening; listen more and font be quick to speak. Stages; listening to know what she is saying, what does it mean to me and what does it mean to her.

7) Practice prayer and forgiveness;

8) Power of honour and respect; the other person has value and you need to express that value to them.

9)Protect your privacy; not everyone should know the private matters in the family

10)Seek professional counsel and therapy where needed
