I got the revelation to start up a worship ministry as I was reading a book’ entitled’ Purpose Driven Life” by Rick Warren given by a friend in New Jersey to read. This book was very inspiring with 40 chapters where by one was required to read a chapter each day. I stated reading the book, when I reached day 36 God spoke to me at 3.00am woken up by the holy spirit with a revelation that I must ide
ntify with a local church and pursue my gift (worship) as this was the manner in which I was going to head the different categories of people going to come across my life. (I realized this was the voice of God) as worship has been the center piece of my life since salvation many years ago, I love to worship – I then worshiped for about 30 minutes and went back to sleep. The following day, I had a strong desire to continue reading the book, so l went on reading day by day. As I reached day .40, the vision became so clear as I realized that “Faith Fellowship’ where I am now a member was the one going to be my local church the same day we were starting the membership classes also happened to be the same day of the vision to recognize my local church. I then joined Faith Fellowship as a member and started the membership classes which I finished before travelling back to Kenya. When in New York sometimes back I had Gods voice again confirming His word (worship). The word of God tells us not to harden Our Hearts” when we hear His voice. I then came up with the decision to start the construction of ” House of Praise’ which I am believing God is faithful enough and will see it come to pass as I have faith and believe in God that when he starts something he must
finish it. Therefore brethren as we unite today in love and unity, I believe you will help me realize this worthwhile dream /vision that God has started. “House of Praise’ is situated in Buru Buru phase 5 next to CITAM Buru buru. We have started small but with a vision of a multitude like Jesus. I believe that it will come to pass. God bless you all. Evangelist. Janet Owuor.
