Daniel 4: 34 -37 NKJV

Nebuchadnezzar Praises God

34.
And at the end of the time I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever:

For His dominion is an everlasting dominion,
And His kingdom is from generation to generation.

35.
All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing;
He does according to His will in the army of heaven
And among the inhabitants of the earth.
No one can restrain His hand
Or say to Him, “What have You done?”

36.
At the same time my reason returned to me, and for the glory of my kingdom, my honor and splendor returned to me. My counselors and nobles resorted to me, I was restored to my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added to me.

37.
Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down.

Good morning!

Today is a day like no other, because today we get to breathe in the life-giving word of God’s unfailing love.

As the sun rises, so does the Lord’s love shine on us, guiding us through every twist and turn of our journey.

David was a man after God’s own heart, and yet, he too needed daily reassurance of God’s love. In the midst of his life's tempests, he looked for God's love as the morning light that breaks the darkest night. His prayer is a mirror reflecting our own hearts, whispering: “God, show me my path.”

This isn’t a passive request, but an active declaration of dependence on the Almighty. It says, "Lord, I am prepared to move, to act, to decide—but only in the direction You point me toward."

To feel God's love in the morning is to carry its transformative power through the day, so that even when we face uncertainty, His love is our guide, our compass, our True North.

Prayer of the Day

Dear God,

As I witness the dawn of this new day, I am reminded of Your enduring love that never ceases.
I trust You, Lord, to steer my thoughts, emotions, and actions.
May Your love guide me so clearly that even those who watch my journey see Your footsteps.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

So roll up your sleeves, get your head in the game, be totally ready to receive the gift that’s coming when Jesus arrives. Don’t lazily slip back into those old grooves of evil, doing just what you feel like doing. You didn’t know any better then; you do now. As obedient children, let yourselves be pulled into a way of life shaped by God’s life, a life energetic and blazing with holiness. God said, “I am holy; you be holy.”
