SERMON TITLE: A NEW SONG

“And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.”
INTRODUCTION
In Scripture, a song is more than melody—it is a spiritual expression of experience, victory, testimony, and revelation. When God gives a new song, it means a new testimony, a new season, and a new work. God does not recycle praise; He releases praise that matches what He has done.
A new song means God has stepped into your story and changed the narrative.

1. THE SOURCE OF THE NEW SONG
A new song comes from God, not from human effort.
Psalm 40:3
“He hath put a new song in my mouth…”
Revelation 5:9
“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy…”
Lesson:
You don’t compose a new song; God deposits it.
When God acts in your life, praise becomes inevitable.
Application:
If God has delivered you, healed you, or restored you, your mouth must respond.

2. A NEW SONG FOLLOWS DELIVERANCE
Every new song is birthed from a test that has become a testimony.
Exodus 15:1
“Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD…”
They sang after crossing the Red Sea.
