Today's Scripture

And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:7 (AMPC)

Make Your Requests with Thankfulness

- God’s Word reveals a wonderful plan for your life.
- It shows how God sees you, and what He has for you through Jesus Christ.
- Keep your thoughts and words in agreement with God’s Word.
- Say,
“Everything I lay my hand to prospers and succeeds.
I am the head and not the tail, above and not beneath.
I am blessed going in and going out.
The blessings of God chase me down and overtake me.
God is on my side.
I am blessed to be a blessing to everyone I meet today.”

Prayer for Today

" Thank You, Father, for the way You and Your Word guide and direct me as I go through my day and thank You for the wonderful plan You have for my life.
Amen."

Today's Scripture

My cup runs over.
Psalm 23:5, NKJV

Running Over

- Our dreams and our cup of faith may be small.
- If God only blessed us according to how much we believe, we would be limited.
- If it was just up to us, we would never experience God’s promise: “Even when you have a little cup of faith, that’s not going to stop Me from the big blessing I have in store.”
- He’s not going to stop pouring at the top of your cup.
- He’s going to give you a running-over blessing.
- He will bless you way beyond what you have faith for.
- Believe that the day is not just coming, but this is the day.

Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that You want my cup to run over with blessings that go way beyond what I have faith for. Thank You that You just keep pouring and pouring Your grace and favor into my life. I believe that You are going to do exceedingly abundantly above all I can ask or think. In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.”

*PARTNERSHIP*
_“In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel”_ Philippians 1:4-5).

You cannot succeed alone . You need others in life & ministry . This is called partnership .

Look at the example below for a deeper reflection .

*"Some men came, bringing to him a paralyzed man, carried by four of them. "* (Mark 2:3).

➡️These four men could not heal their friend *but* they could carry him to the One who could heal him.

➡️You have neighbors and friends who are spiritual paralytics.

➡️You cannot cure them, *but* perhaps you can take them to One who can do for them what you cannot do.

❗❗That is the kind of help you and I ought always to be willing to give to one another.

The Christian love requires that you and I *be ready always to lend a hand to those who need the partnership* we can give and this could be in *any area .*

❌❌ *You never can tell how soon it may be your turn to require such friendly help just as your neighbor requires from you today.*

❌❌ _If you expect to have people turn aside from their work to help you in your time of need, you must be willing to do as much for others who now require help._

❗ *Are you holding anyone’s hand in life & ministry ?*
❗❗ *Are you in any form of partnership ?*

*Importance of prayer and fasting*

Fasting is not an end unto itself, but a means of focusing our minds and bodies for a spiritual reason. Whenever you fast, do so for a reason that is mentioned or modeled in the Bible. Here are ten primary purposes for fasting mentioned in Scripture:

1. To strengthen prayer (e.g., see Ezra 8:23)
Numerous incidents in the Old Testament connect fasting to prayer, especially intercessory prayer. Fasting does not change whether God hears our prayers, but it can change our praying. As Arthur Wallis says, “Fasting is calculated to bring a note of urgency and importunity into our praying, and to give force to our pleading in the court of heaven.”

2. To seek God’s guidance (e.g., see Judges 20:26)
As with prayer, fasting to seek God’s guidance isn’t done to change God but to make us more receptive to his guidance.

3. To express grief (e.g., see 1 Samuel 31:13)
Expressing grief is one of the primary reasons for fasting. Ever notice that when you’re moved to tears by grief you lose the urge to eat? When we grieve, our family and friends often have to plead with us to eat because our body’s appropriate response to grief is to fast. A prime example occurs in 2 Samuel 1:12, where David and his men are described as having “mourned and wept and fasted till evening” for their friends, their enemies and their nation.

4. To seek deliverance or protection (e.g., see 2 Chronicles 20:3 – 4)
Another common reason for fasting in the Old Testament was to seek deliverance from enemies or circumstances. In Scripture, this type of fast is generally carried out with other believers.

5. To express repentance and a return to God (e.g., see 1 Samuel 7:6)
This type of fasting helps us to express grief over our sins and shows our seriousness about returning to the path of godly obedience.

6. To humble oneself before God (e.g., see 1 Kings 21:27 – 29)
“Remember that fasting itself is not humility before God,” reminds Donald Whitney, “but should be an express

Consider sitting down and allowing the Holy Spirit to press you with these 13 questions for the New Year:

1. What is the biggest thing I have seen Jesus do in my personal life this year?

2. How has God used me this year in the lives of others?

3. How would I define my relationship with Jesus? Intimate, ever-growing, dark chocolate rich, mediocre? Am I more in love with Jesus and more intimate with His Spirit than I was a year ago?

4. If I were to be honest, how has my time in the Word been? Where have I been studying lately? What Truth has God been revealing in my life through His Word?

5. How did the Bible live through me this past year?

6. Am I enjoying prayer?

7. Is my life defined by the traits of honesty, purity, integrity, character, kind, loving, dependable, courageous, patient, and truthful?

8. Do I take a stand for Truth, rescue the weak and downcast, and help the helpless?

9. Do I ponder the fulness of the Gospel daily?

10. What do my resources say about my focus and priorities this past year?

11. Do I allow Jesus to use my life and lips to be a witness and win the lost?

12. What do I want to see God do in my life this coming year? What areas of my life do I want Him to change? What is the kind of person He wants to form me into?

13. Am I fully surrendered to live the bravehearted and Biblical Christian life that Jesus wants to live in and through me in 2022?

May this New Year draw you into the abundant richness of Jesus more than you ever thought possible.

*8 GROUPS OF PEOPLE YOU NEED TO KNOW AND HANDLE (NOT TO HATE THEM) BUT WITH WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE*

*(1).* *Thomas Group* - They walk with you, eat with you and possibly live with you but don't really believe in you. They keep on delaying your vision and mission. *_(John 20:24-29)_*

*(2).* *Judas Group* - They walk with you, eat with you and possibly live with you but are after what they can get from you or elsewhere. They are not loyal and can easily betray you. *_(Matthew 26:14-16)_*

*(3).* *Demas Group* - They walk with you and possibly live with you; but once you start facing challenges and difficulties, they run away and forsake you. *_(2 Timothy 4:10)_*

*(4).* *Korah Group* - They pretend to be walking with you but when GOD begins to bless you, they will be jealous of your success. They challenge your influence and authority. They have issues when others acknowledge you. *_(Numbers 16:1-3)_*

*(5).* *Ham Group* - They are close to you, yet they expose your secrets and nakedness. The day you made a mistake or committed an error and find yourself in a sinful situation, they tell everyone of your weaknesses and exposing you to ridicules. *_(Genesis 9:20-24)_*

*(6).* *Absalom Group* - They are very close to you. They are impatiently ambitious. They detest your rising profile. They surreptitiously position themselves to hijack and cut off those who believe in you and win them over by saying that they are better than you. They malign you as being unfair, insensitive, wicked and incompetent. *_(2 Samuel 15:1-6)_*

*(7).* *Gehazi Group* - They are gluttonous and insatiable. They collect money behind your back. They ask for financial assistance and make people to feel you are not taking good care of them. *_(2 Kings 5:20-24)_*

*(8).* *Diotrephes Group* - This is the most dangerous group. They have a voice and influence amongst the people. They can come up with fabricated stories that could destroy your image and position. They are highly territori

How does one serve God wholeheartedly?

1. Through prayer

Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. (Jeremiah 33:3)

Only God (through the Holy Spirit) can fill the void that people have in their lives. This emptiness is caused by a lack of fulfilment that comes from not understanding their personal purpose (which I believe is a secret as we are all uniquely created to fulfil specific purposes). Today, people all over the world are searching for their purpose through self-help materials such as meditation, life coaches, etc. We as Christians find this answer as we seek and pray to God, our maker.

The 2020 pandemic has made more people understand that the church is actually not a building but the people, and now more than ever, the world needs men and women who will commit themselves to earnestly pray.

2. Through giving

Giving is the evidence of God’s love in us and if we truly understand His everlasting love for us, we will become generous just like He is.

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.” (Malachi 3:10)

As a tither you have a tither’s benefits – the devourer is rebuked in your life. These benefits are not just financial but also your health, your peace, your family, etc. Knowing that you are not robbing God gives you the confidence to claim your benefits because you have a right to.

3. Through faith

Faith is the foundation of the Christian life. We have good evidence to trust that what we believe is true and it is that very truth that has set us free. He has given all of us the same measure of faith, but as individuals we have to purposefully put in the work to increase this measure (study faith, speak in faith to situations in your life, act in faith) for it is impossible to please God

*TURNING YOUR MOURNING INTO DANCING.*
Psalms 30:10-12

*Hear, LORD, and be merciful to me; LORD, be my help." You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. LORD my God, I will praise you forever.*

The first half of the year 2021 may have come with many challenges that made you mourn. _May I remind you that God is able to change the season as you begin the second half of the year 2021._ A season of mourning change in to Dancing and Jubilation.

The writer of this Psalm was giving a testimony of the Lord turning his mourning into dancing. 🌷May you have a similar testimony in Jesus Name!
🌷May you dance your way into victory.

Prayer
🙏May the Lord God Almighty, turn your wailing into dancing today in Jesus Mighty Name.
🙏May the Lord remove your sackcloth and clothe you with joy, So that your heart may sing to the Lord and not be silent
🙏May you give thanks to the Lord forever, in Jesus Mighty Name, *Amen.*
