FEELINGS🤔

Feelings are often are unreliable and not to be trusted while making decisions. It is nice if we have feelings to support us when we are taking action, but we can do what is right with or without the fuel of feelings.

God gives us His spirit to enable us to make right and wise choices. He urges us, guides and leads us, but we still have to cast the deciding vote. If you have been casting the wrong vote, all you need is change your vote. Forming new habits will require making a decision to not do what you feel like doing unless it agrees with God's will. You will have to say no to yourself quite often, and that is "dying to self"

BIBLE STUDY - 27TH MAY 2022

THE RIGHT RULERSHIP IS RESTORED

2 Chronicles 23

Verse 1 - 17 - Jehoiada, the Chief organiser for the overthrow of Athaliah and restoration of the right ruler and heir to the throne.

Wickedness will be overthrown by Gof through Jesus Christ His son at the end of all things. (Rev 17:14, 18:1-8, 19:11-21)

Verse 12-21 - Slay queen Athaliah slain.

Whoever lives by the sword will die by the sword - Matthew 26:52

Reminds of Exodus 32:26-28, Who is on the Lord's side? Ephesians 6:17

Whoever is on the Lord's side takes up the sword of the Spirit ( the Word of God) and puts to death anything that is in opposition to God.

No matter how long the enemy of God's people seems to prevail (like Athaliah(, the Lord will still prevail and His sons and daughters will rule and reign with Him on earth.

Even when nothing seems to be happening, God is still working out and organizing His perfect plan behind the scenes.

There's always a Joash growing and maturing up to come and take over the throne as well as an anointed Jehoiada and an army shaping up to come and fulfill God's will and purpose.

May we always have and cling to this hope no matter how dark and glim things look.

Remember when God is not working miraculously it's because He is workibg naturally. All these to the Praise of the glory of God's grace.
