In our lectures today
Taqwa (piety) is;
1. The consciousness and the fear of Allah
2. To be happy and content with the small provision of this world
3. Practice upon revelation and revelation is obviously referring to the book of Allah (Quran) and the Sunnah of our beloved Muhammad (SAW)
4. Prepare for the day you are going to leave this world for the hereafter.

The Sheikh concludes to earn Allah’s mercy and get admitted to His Jannah, we must hold fast onto this components of piety.

Evidence?

Allah (Subhanahu Wata’ala) says in (Suratul- Maryam Ayah 63)

‎تِلۡكَ الۡجَـنَّةُ الَّتِىۡ نُوۡرِثُ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا مَنۡ كَانَ تَقِيًّا‏
(That is Paradise, which We will grant to whoever is devout among Our servants)

Ya Allah make me, my family members, close and distant relatives, all my social media friends and the Ummah at large amongst those who earn your mercy and your Jannah!

The Prophet ﷺ said:

وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ خَيْرَ أَعْمَالِكُمُ الصَّلاَةُ

“Know that the best of your deeds is the Prayer.”

(Source: Sunan Ibn Majah 277, authenticated by Ibn Hajar and others).

When you pray, remind yourself, that there’s nothing else that you can possibly be doing that is better than the Prayer.

This attitude will help you alot in achieving focus and not to rushing though your Prayer. والحمد لله

The dua made by prophet Yunus (A.S):

One golden Dua you must always say in difficulties, trials, calamities (marriage problems, life problems ANY problem!) is the Dua of Prophet Yunus (A.S), who called on Allah while he was in the whale fish stomach (in extreme distress)

لاَ إِلَـٰهَ إِ لاَّ أَنْتَ سُبْـحَانَكَ ، إِ نِّـيْ كُنْتُ مِـنَ الظَّالِمِيْنَ

La Illaha Illah Anta Subhanaka Inni Kuntu Minaz zalimeen.

Non has the right to be worshipped except you. How perfect you are, verily I was among the wrong-doers

The Messenger ‎(ﷺ) said,

"Any Muslim who recites this Dua, his request will be granted by Allah."

(At-Tirmidhi 3505)

In the very next Ayah, (verse) after this Dua in Quran, Allah says:
"So We responded to him and saved him from the distress. And thus do We save the believers" (Surah Al-Anbya 21:88)

For any problem in your life, you must recite this one line Dua from the Quran, on a regular basis. InShaAllah.
