Word For Today
You can steal a person's money.
You can take away their job.
You can grab their position.
You can even try to destroy their reputation.
But there is one thing you can never steal: the grace of God upon their life.
Grace is what makes doors open where there are no keys.
Grace is what causes people to remember you when they have forgotten everyone else.
Grace is what lifts a person from the pit and places them at the table of kings.
That is why some people lose everything and still rise again. Not because they are lucky, not because life is fair, but because there is a grace upon them that cannot be taken away.
Joseph was sold by his own brothers, falsely accused, and thrown into prison. Yet wherever he went, God's favor followed him. What people meant for evil, God turned into a testimony.
David was hunted like an animal by King Saul, but the throne that God had prepared for him could not be stolen.
When God has placed His hand upon your life, people may delay you, fight you, gossip about you, and even celebrate your downfall. But they cannot cancel what God has already spoken concerning you.
"The gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable." — Romans 11:29
"And Joseph found grace in His sight." — Genesis 39:4
"No weapon formed against you shall prosper." — Isaiah 54:17
So if you have lost something, don't lose hope. As long as God's grace is still upon your life, your story is not over. What was taken can be restored. What was broken can be rebuilt. What seemed impossible can become your testimony.
Stop worrying about what was stolen.
Focus on the grace that remains.
