FROM TROUBLES TO TRIUMPH
‭‭ _Psalms‬ ‭71:20‭-‬21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
[20] You, who have shown me great and severe troubles, Shall revive me again, And bring me up again from the depths of the earth. [21] You shall increase my greatness, And comfort me on every side .
‭Psalm 71:20-21 is a beautiful passage that speaks to the faithfulness of God in the midst of troubles. It acknowledges that life can bring us many challenges, and sometimes those challenges can feel overwhelming and bitter. But the psalmist expresses confidence in God's ability to restore and bring new life.When the psalmist says, "you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up," it's a powerful image of God's redemptive work. It's a reminder that even when we feel like we're in the depths of despair or facing difficult circumstances, God has the power to lift us up and bring us back to a place of wholeness.The psalmist also speaks of God increasing their honor and comforting them once more. This shows that God not only restores our lives, but He also blesses us and brings us comfort in our times of need. It's a reminder that we can trust in God's faithfulness and rely on His love and care for us.In summary, Psalm 71:20-21 is a message of hope and assurance. It reminds us that even in the midst of troubles, God is with us, ready to restore, bless, and comfort us. It's a powerful reminder of the unwavering faithfulness of our Heavenly Father.
PRAYER
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you with grateful hearts, knowing that you are the source of restoration, honor, and comfort. We lift up our burdens and troubles to you, trusting that you will bring us through them. Just as you have brought us up from the depths of despair before, we ask for your guidance and strength to overcome any challenges we may face. May your loving presence surround us, bringing us comfort and peace in times of need. Help us to trust in your faithfulness and find hope in your promises. In Jesus' name, we pray. ‭‭ Job‬ ‭14:7‭-‬9‬ ‭AMP‬‬
_[ *7] “For there is hope for a tree, If it is cut down, that it will sprout again, And that the shoots of it will not cease nor fail, [but there is no such hope for man]. [8] Though its roots grow old in the earth And its stump dies in the dry soil, [9] Yet at the scent of water [the stump of the tree] will flourish And bring forth sprigs and shoots like a seedling.

I want to share what God spoke to me when I was praying for this year. The verse above was what my heart was carrying throughout that season.

Think of ministry as a tree. Sometimes, it may feel like the work you're doing is being cut down or facing challenges. But just like a tree's tender shoots that don't cease, BTR has the potential to bring forth new life and bear fruit. Even when it seems like the roots are growing old or the stump is dying, the scent of water,which represents the presence of God's Spirit , can bring forth new growth and branches. 🌿

This reminds us that ministry is not always easy, and there may be times when we face setbacks or difficulties. However let's remember even in the face of difficulties,just as a tree can find new life through water, BTR has found rejuvenation and purpose through seeking God's guidance and relying on His strength.

So in this year it being our year of Restoration let this be a reminder that even in the darkest moments, there is always the chance for renewal and restoration it's an encouragement to hold onto hope for there is potential for new beginnings.

This does not only apply to ministry. It also applies to our daily lives. It's an invitation to reflect on the fragility and preciousness of life, urging us to make the most of the time we have .

Hey there, Amazing people! 🌟

As we step into this new year, I wanted to share an encouraging message with you all, inspired by 1 Peter 5:10. It says, *" _And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast."*_

Isn't it amazing to know that no matter what challenges or trials we may face, God's grace is always with us? He is the one who called us to His eternal glory in Christ, and He promises to restore us, making us strong, firm, and steadfast.

So as we embark on this new year, let's hold onto this promise. Let's remember that even in the midst of difficulties, God is working in us and through us. He is shaping us, molding us, and preparing us for His purposes. And in His perfect timing, He will bring restoration and strength to our lives.

May this verse be a source of encouragement and hope as we journey together in ministry. Let's lean on God's grace and trust in His faithfulness. I'm excited to see how He will work in and through us this year!

BORN TO REIGN: Morning Devotion

TOPIC: *The Grace of God*

Hello people of God. Today I'll close on this wonderful topic of The Grace of God.

We seen a lot concerning grace.

Today I'll give you just one simple way of attracting the grace of God into your life.

But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.”
James 4:6 NKJV

Peter says,
_And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ Jesus_

We see that God is the giver of grace. He chooses where to pour out His Grace.

Then in James it says. God rejects the proud and gives grace to the humble.

You see God cannot share His glory with flesh. God does not glory in the flesh(self). God is a selfish God. That is why for God to use you you must die

Because God wants all glory to go to Him. Paul wrote and said
_My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness._

Being Weakened doesn't mean God has left you. It simply gives God's grace and power a perfect platform to work. To labour on your behalf. Because now your flesh will not glory in the victory that will come.

So brethren, being proud is an identifier of someone whose flesh is not dead. Humility is an attribute of someone who is dead.

Humility will make the grace of God be availed into your life

Bible says,
Humble yourself before the Lord and He will lift you up.

It means God avails grace that lifts you up. It is His grace that exalts you.

It says in Acts,
_I commend you to God and to the word of His grace which is able to build you up_

It means Grace can build you. Bible says we are God's building. One of the building blocks that God uses is Grace! Because Grace is a builder. It builds!

I'll end there

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, give us a deeper revelation of Grace. Avail grace into our lives. Help us Lord to live soberly and righteously in Jesus Mighty Name
AMEN.
