WINE AND MONEY
Proverbs 20:1
"Wine is a mocker and beer a brawler; whoever is led astray by them is not wise."
It warns that alcohol cause people to act foolishly and aggressively. The "Mocker": Wine causes people to mock, boast, and lose their sense of dignity.
The "Brawler": Beer (or "strong drink") leads to rowdy behavior, arguments, and physical fights.
The Lesson: It warns that anyone controlled or deceived by alcohol lacks wisdom.
Wine: Described as a "mocker" because it deceives you into doing foolish things and acting without dignity.
Beer: Described as a "brawler" because strong drink can lower inhibitions and easily lead to arguments, fights, and violence.
Eccl 10:19
"A feast is made for laughter, and wine makes merry, but money answers everything."
Worldly Perspective: It reflects practical, worldly wisdom.
In a purely material sense, money facilitates most of life's daily needs, transactions, and comforts, including Wine that mocks.
Yes, money is good, but it isn't a guarantee that money solves all of life's deepest problems. The Limits of Wealth While money can buy many material things, it cannot purchase intangible, spiritual, or emotional values.
Common philosophical and community consensus points out that money cannot buy Generosity ,Trust love and friendship: money can only buy flattery, not genuine friends.
On matters of Life and time: No amount of wealth can stop aging or bring back time.
Concerning Peace of mind, Deep fulfillment, inner peace, and health are generally considered priceless. If money could buy health.... The RICH would have lived on this Earth Forever..
David said, "I have been young, and now am old; Yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread"..... THAT'S DAVID!!!
As for me....
I can say," I have been young, and now I am old; I have seen THE PRIDE OF WEALTH and RICHES MORE MOCKERY THAN WINE!!
