Why do we still live despite our mistakes???
๐๐๐๐
2 Peter 3:9
[9]The Lord is not slow to do what He has promised, as some think. Instead, He is patient with you, because He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants all to turn away from their sins.
How loving and caring is our Father? Yes our one Father, we all have one Father that's the interesting thing. What He revealed to Peter isn't different to what He is speaking to us nowadays brethren.
Here is one parable that Jesus taught that reflects Him offering a chance for repentance and forgiveness of sin, showing his grace toward His believers. So that we may inherit His Kingdom and receive His promises.
*Luke 13:6-9*
[6]Then Jesus told them this parable: โThere was once a man who had a fig tree growing in his vineyard. He went looking for figs on it but found none.
[7]So he said to his gardener, โLook, for three years I have been coming here looking for figs on this fig tree, and I haven't found any. Cut it down! Why should it go on using up the soil?โ
[8]But the gardener answered, โLeave it alone, sir, just one more year; I will dig round it and put in some manure.
[9]Then if the tree bears figs next year, so much the better; if not, then you can have it cut down.โ โ
*Take this day as a chance to seek His face again dear brothers and sisters in Christ. Don't justify your sins anymore because the true salvation is from God the Father and the Lamb. Ask for forgiveness for all your sins, hidden secrets, hidden agendas and unrighteousness as stated in 1John 1:9.*
