A person's behaviour is shaped by three key factors: their genetic makeup, the environment in which they live, and what they feed their minds on—the information they consume.
As a church, we may not be able to change a person's genetic makeup, and although we invest significantly in improving communities and supporting society, lasting transformation goes beyond creating a better environment. When we help save a person, we must also be concerned about the conditions in which they live and thrive.
However, the greatest weapon God has entrusted to us is His Word. What people feed on determines who they become. When individuals feed on the Word of God, their lives are transformed through the power of the gospel.
Sadly, in some places today, biblical preaching has been replaced with shallow messages, fabricated doctrines, and baseless prophecies that merely stir emotions without producing genuine spiritual growth. The church must never substitute emotional excitement for sound doctrine.
If we are to build a church that will stand from generation to generation, we must remain firmly rooted in the Word of God. As Scripture teaches in Ephesians 3:21, God's glory is to be revealed in the church throughout all generations.
This is why gatherings such as PENSA are not merely about fellowship, music, or social activities. They are platforms for shaping the next generation with the truth of God's Word. Every generation faces unique challenges, but God always raises that same generation to confront and overcome them through the power of the gospel.
