The insight today
Then those who feared the Lord talked often one to another; and the Lord listened and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him of those who reverenced and worshipfully feared the Lord and who thought on His name. And they shall be Mine, says the Lord of hosts, in that day when I publicly recognize and openly declare them to be My jewels (My special possession, My peculiar treasure). And I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him. Then shall you return and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him who serves God and him who does not serve Him (Malachi 3:16 - 3:18 AMP)
This is a word that illustrates the faithfulness of God for those who diligently serve Him. It's a great thing to serve the Lord and walking in the light of God. Everything we do for God in His hlight is written down in the book of remembrance, this is what God uses to count your blessings one by one and value your reward.
It's never In vain to serve the Lord in whatever capacity . Someone thinks serving God you must be a pastor or so. No. Serving the Lord is being with the Lord diligently following His word and what it requires of you. Making sure the world around you knows God and is happy to be a God people.
When you render any service in the name of the Lord be sure that your life is being counted as a treasure before God.
In our opening scripture we see God making His promises to those who love Him and serve Him. Though they seem forsaken or looked dow,n upon though the promises or the blessing or the visitation has tarried; the Lord will surely follow His word and perform it at the right time. God comes on time never late or early, so serve knowing that at Gods time your smile will widen up.
When you serve the Lord the bible says God shall publicly, openly declare you as His own special and peculiar possession . When you serve do it for God not for men to praise you , honor and glory is to God yours is the reward from God not men.
There are several ways of serving the Lord get yourself in a position each day to bring Gods dream to pass. God has so much to do through you and me and requires we take it our responsibility so that His dream will come to manifestation in our world .
God will draw a clear line between those who serve Him and those who do not serve Him. On which side do you want to be.
Oh Lord I swing into my right position give me the grace to serve you in within my capacity and ability in order to bring your dream to pass in my world. Oh Holy Ghost help me in Jesus name. Amen.
