Remember:

Confidence-like Job,be confident in the Lord even in trial. This is one thing that you can't afford to loose. Seek the knowledge of the Word ,have information, the facts and details, pray for Wisdom and understanding and the result is reduced uncertainty, bold and faith- filled confident believer.

Conviction-pray that the Lord may make you a good listener and a good responder to the convictions of the Holy Spirit. He nudges us, whether we are awake or asleep and is always generous to us .Ponder on this; How sensitive are you to His prompting?

Connection-Trust God to open the right connections for you.He may appear to Have tallied but patiently wait ,He is always on time.He is our all time compass. On the other hand desire to be used by the Lord in service to bring the right connection to people, especially for the lost sheep.

Compassion-we are called to make a difference in people's lives.Always strive to make someone's experience easier and not harder.Whether at home or in employment. Masters, have Compassion on your servants and servants should likewise have Compassion on their masters.Show mercy and you will likewise be shown mercy.

C-Compassion

Compassion was in the heart of Jesus' Ministry and one example is where He restored the sight to the 2 blind and desperate men:
Matthew 20:34 Jesus had Compassion on them and touched their eyes, immediately they received their sight and followed him.

This was not merely a feeling of pity but empathy that compelled Him to take actions to alleviate suffering.Christians are called to clothe themselves with compassion and to bear with one another.( Colossians 3:12).

We look at the third 'C'- Connection
Colossians 3:14 and over all these virtues put on love which is the bond of perfect unity.
Just as glue holds broke pieces together, this divine love restores, heals and connect human hearts to God.It is through the love of God that we can love and be compassion to others.
Real connection leads to true intimacy .
How do you know you are growing in your connection with God ?
1)First ,you render your heart to Jesus by accepting the salvation grace to work in you.
2)You find yourself tallying more, just to listen from the Lord .
3)Having an attitude of gratitude that reasonate with 'what can I do for my Lord ' other than 'I need this and that ..'
4)Being sensitive to sin, seeking forgiveness and regularly seeking repentance not only for yourself ,but even for others. You don't want to hurt your Friend and for this matter your King and Saviour.
5)Loving the work of God,loving God's people and being empathetic.

Conviction
It is the work of the Holy Spirit to bring conviction.
While the devil throws accusation aimed at condemnation, conviction of the Lord opens our eyes to sins and opens our hearts to receive His amazing Grace.
Conviction is the foundation of true charisma, the kind that Peter demonstrated while preaching after the pentecost experience.

Confidence continued..

As believers, our confidence stems from the victory of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who died and rose for us.True believers must wear their confidence like a crown to win against all the schemes of the evil one.
A person might have all the answers in an interview ,but his/her lack of confidence can block them from getting the best opportunities .Some rise while others fall due to their confidence level.
You may be going through a very trying moment ,a moment like that of Job in the Bible.A heavy burden that seems like it's permanent, and even at that point,I encourage you to stand firm in Faith which manifest in your confidence in the risen Christ . Just like it happened to Job, you too are out for a great reward.

Paul had this to say to the Philippians..

Philippians 1:6
I am confident of this very thing: that he who has begun this good work in you will perfect it, unto the day of Christ Jesus.

Confidence in the finished work on the cross ushers a believer into the well of unmerited grace and mercy.
Loosing your confidence is like loosing everything that accompanies living Faith.

Confidence is defined as a secure, bold, and fearless approach to life, founded on God's unwavering love, grace, and presence, particularly through Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 4:16

16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Act 2:14Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd:'Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem,,let me to you; listen carefully to what I say...

Peter went ahead to explain that the the people were not drunk but were under the influence of the Holy Spirit ,confirming Prophet Joel's Words. He went ahead to preach and in verse 41, about 3,000 were added to their number that day.
He chose to raise his voice to erase away the mockery that had already began and to speak the saving truth that cut deeply into the listeners hearts. He did it all by the help of the Holy Spirit.
Like Peter,Christians are called to direct the conversations and share the truth that leads to salvation.
Peter had these great 'C' s ,namely;
C-Confidence
C-Conviction
C-Connection
C-Compassion.

'Good & faithful servants'
In Mathew 25 :14-30
The Bible highlights the parable of the Bags of gold.To those 2 servants who went ahead in work and gained more bags, the master responded by saying 'well done good and faithful servant..come and share your master's happiness!'.
Good and faithful is paired in this biblical context for a reason . It means a trustworthy steward who uses the gift to produce positive results(good) while remaining steadfast in their commitment to God( faithful).

We may have many good servants, good tithers, good friends, but God desires goodness and faithfulness.

See what the Bible says in Psalm 101:6:
My eyes will be on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me;the one whose way of life is blameless will minister to me.

While people are mostly attracted by the good they see, God is attracted by faithfulness.
Are you just good or good and faithful ?.

John 3 :14 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,15 that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him...
We learn true freedom when we rest the weight of our lives on what God has already done in Christ.
In Numbers 21:4-9,the Bibles says anyone who looked at the bronze snake lived but only after responding by looking up.
Today, God is calling us to respond by accepting this great Calvary's love inorder to live, not only now but forever more with Him..

1 John 4:4
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

Reflection 10/4/2026

Do you live for yourself, for others or for Christ?.

Christ died and was raised so that we can live for Him.

2 Corinthians 5:15 Christ died for all so that those who live would not continue to live for themselves...

Jesus's Ministry broke barriers and social taboos when He dined with sinners, healed the lepers who were traditionally shunned and isolated, restored dignity to the sick and people like the Samaritan woman, all these examples clearly demonstrating that His motive was of Love,Grace and Mercy .He died for all.
These loud and indelible marks of our Lord and Saviour guide our motives towards living a Christ- like life .It is in Him we live ,move and have our being.

1 John 3:16
By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.
