𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗢𝗔𝗟 𝗜𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗬 𝗧𝗢 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗚𝗢𝗗 𝗛𝗔𝗦 𝗦𝗔𝗜𝗗. 𝗜𝗧 𝗜𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗢𝗗 𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗦.

You can know many things about someone without actually knowing them.

You can know where they live.

You can know what they do.

You can know what they like.

You can even know stories about their life.

But knowing facts about someone is not the same as having a relationship with them.

The same is true of God.

You can know Bible verses and still not know the God of the Bible deeply.

You can know Christian language.

You can listen to sermons.

You can sing worship songs.

You can know what God has done for others.

But there comes a point where you must ask yourself:

𝗗𝗢 𝗜 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗚𝗢𝗗, 𝗢𝗥 𝗗𝗢 𝗜 𝗦𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗬 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗛𝗜𝗠?

Paul had an impressive spiritual background, yet his desire was still:

📖 “That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings.” — Philippians 3:10

Okay. You need to read that again.

Paul wasn't satisfied with information.

He wanted intimacy.

He wanted to know Christ personally.

And knowing God is not merely about having more information.

It is:

• Learning His character.
• Trusting Him when you don't understand.
• Recognising His voice.
• Loving what He loves.
• Allowing His Word to correct you.
• Obeying Him when obedience is inconvenient.
• Running to Him when life becomes difficult.
• Enjoying His presence when you don't need anything from Him.

You don't build that kind of relationship by occasionally hearing about God.

You build it by spending time with Him.

Talk to Him.

Read His Word.

Listen.

Worship.

Ask questions.

Obey what He teaches you.

Return when you fail.

Stay when He seems silent.

Keep seeking.

Because the goal of your Christian life is not simply to become someone who knows many things about God.

It is to become someone who KNOWS GOD.

And there is always more of Him to discover.

If someone asked you, “What do you personally know about God?” what would your answer reveal about the depth of your relationship with Him?

𝗔 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗘𝗘 𝗠𝗘 𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬

As we were about leaving my office, I told him to allow me to end my fast by reading the prophetic Psalm for today.

I had asked all members to read Psalm 27 from verse 1 to the end for the first three days of this month to break their Ember Season fast.

So, he saw me reading it religiously.

As we got into the car, he said to me:

“Bishop, are you not the one that gave them the instruction?”

I responded in the affirmative.

He then said:

“Why are you also reading it?”

I said the following to him:

1️⃣ MOST PASTORS MAKE THE MISTAKE OF GIVING MEMBERS INSTRUCTIONS WITHOUT THEM ALSO DOING IT.

2️⃣ YOU ARE ALSO A MEMBER OF THAT CHURCH.

You are not just a pastor; you are also a member.

3️⃣ KNOWING IT AND DOING IT ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS.

This is why most pastors are not blessed by the same things they know. Knowledge alone is not enough; obedience is required.

4️⃣ NEVER BECOME SO FAMILIAR WITH GOD THAT YOU STOP BELIEVING IN THE INSTRUCTIONS HE GIVES TO THE HOUSE THROUGH YOU FROM TIME TO TIME.

5️⃣ IF YOU ASK THEM TO FAST, YOU ALSO FAST.

If you ask them to come early to church, you also show them the example by coming early.

6️⃣ IF YOU ASK THEM TO WAKE UP AND DANCE IN THE NIGHT, YOU ALSO DO IT.

Leadership is not only about giving instructions; it is also about leading by example.

7️⃣ WHATEVER GOD SAW THAT MADE HIM ASK THE HOUSE TO PROPHETICALLY READ PSALM 27 FROM VERSE 1 TO THE END IS ALSO FOR YOU AND YOUR HOUSEHOLD.

He said to me:

“I have learnt this today. I will always do it with them, because I give my members all kinds of instructions without doing it with them.”

𝗜𝗡 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡

YOU ARE NOT JUST A PASTOR IN THAT CHURCH; YOU ARE ALSO A MEMBER.

Whatever instructions God gives to the members are also applicable to you.

Above all, there is a God in heaven who takes the record of our obedience of faith.

Let us not even talk about those who are very close to the pastor and no longer take instructions from the altar seriously.

🙏🏾 A NEW CHAPTER FOR CFF — 21 YEARS OF GOD’S FAITHFULNESS 🙏🏾

The last Sunday of August marked the close of a significant and memorable chapter for CFF Central Church Nairobi at Bunyala Road.

For 21 years, Archbishop Harrison and the entire CFF family have witnessed God’s faithfulness, goodness, and grace. As this chapter officially comes to a close, our hearts are filled with gratitude to God and to every person who has been part of this incredible journey.

Now, as we step into the first Sunday of September, they move forward into a new home at CFF ChemiChemi, along Kangundo Road, Kwa Maji Police Post.

A new location, but the same faithful God who has been with them throughout the years. 🙏🏾

As they begin this exciting new chapter, we wish Archbishop Harrison and the entire CFF family God’s abundant blessings, greater impact, renewed strength, and continued success in the Kingdom.

May their new home become a place of revival, transformation, restoration, and countless testimonies. 🔥🙌🏾

🔥 𝗠𝗬 𝗧𝗔𝗞𝗘 𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 “𝗙𝗔𝗞𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦𝗧” 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗬 — 𝗟𝗘𝗧’𝗦 𝗔𝗦𝗞 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗗 𝗤𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦

𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗕𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗩. 𝗝𝗢𝗛𝗡𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗠𝗔Í𝗡𝗔

The controversy surrounding the man identified as 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗸𝗼 𝗢𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗮 has raised serious questions about 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.

If the allegations made by the Church are confirmed, then presenting oneself as an authorized Catholic priest without authorization is 𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴.

No one should simply manufacture a religious title, wear ministerial vestments, perform religious functions or assume authority they have not been given.

𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗺𝗲.

It comes with responsibility, accountability and trust.

🔥 𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗜𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗗 𝗤𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡:

If the only established issue is that someone allegedly presented himself as a priest, what happens after exposure?

Do we simply shame him?

Do we destroy his reputation?

Do we celebrate his downfall?

Or do we ask what can be done to correct the person while protecting the Church and its members?

Let me be clear:

𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗗𝗢𝗘𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗠𝗘𝗔𝗡 𝗘𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬.

If wrongdoing has occurred, accountability is necessary.

If the law has been broken, let the law take its course.

If believers were deceived, they deserve protection and honest answers.

𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗔𝗡 𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗟𝗗 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗘𝗡𝗗 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗣𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧.

It should also leave room for 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

If someone genuinely desires to serve God but has taken the wrong path, why not show them the 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵?

Let the truth be established.

Let the deception be confronted.

Let proper counseling take place.

Let theological formation be encouraged where appropriate.

Let the person understand the seriousness of falsely assuming religious authority.

And if there is genuine repentance, 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵?

𝗔 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗕𝗘 𝗪𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗕𝗘𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗕𝗘𝗬𝗢𝗡𝗗 𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡.

We must also be careful not to turn someone's exposure into entertainment.

Today it is someone accused of pretending to be a priest.

Tomorrow it could be someone pretending to be a pastor, bishop, prophet, apostle or evangelist.

This should therefore become a wake-up call for the entire Christian community.

🔥 𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗙𝗬 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦.
⚖️ 𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬.
🙏 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗧 𝗗𝗘𝗖𝗘𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡.
❤️ 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗠 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘.
🔄 𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗘𝗫𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗦, 𝗣𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗨𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡.

Because the goal of Christian correction should not simply be to 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘆 𝗮 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻.

The goal should be to 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵, 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱, 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲.

🔥 𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗟𝗘𝗧’𝗦 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗨𝗦𝗦:

Should someone who falsely presents himself as a minister 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱, or should the Church also create a pathway for 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻?

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗛𝗨𝗥𝗖𝗛 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗞𝗦𝗛 𝟳𝟬𝟬 𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗟𝗢𝗔𝗡: 𝗔 𝗤𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬

PCEA asking its members to contribute money towards repaying a Ksh 700 million loan associated with a hotel owned by the church is an issue that deserves clear and transparent explanations.

Giving towards the work of God is biblical. However, when it comes to a church-owned business or investment, members also have the right to ask:

👉 Is the money being requested a donation, a special contribution, or an investment?

👉 If it is an investment, why aren’t members given an opportunity to buy shares and become part of the ownership?

👉 If the business makes a profit, what benefits will the members who contribute receive?

👉 And if the business makes losses, who will bear the burden?

Giving to God is sacred, but transparency, accountability, and integrity in the management of members’ funds are equally important.

When the church engages in business, it is important to clearly distinguish between God’s offering and a commercial investment.

This is not about opposing the church. It is about asking basic and legitimate questions respectfully.

Many people see the pastor on the pulpit, but they do not see the pressure behind the pulpit.

They hear the sermon, but not the sighs.
They see the smile, but not the scars.
They see the anointing, but not the agony.

A pastor is more than a preacher—he is a shepherd of souls.

Pastors pray for others, counsel the broken, comfort the grieving, restore the fallen, strengthen families, lead God's people, and carry the burden of the vision God has entrusted to them.

✅ Pray for them regularly
✅ Encourage them with kind words
✅ Honor their calling
✅ Support the vision faithfully
✅ Protect them from false accusations
✅ Care for their family
✅ Stand with them during difficult seasons

📖 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13
"Recognize those who labor among you... and esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake."

Many churches pray for growth.
Many ministries desire expansion.
Many pastors preach powerful messages and carry clear visions.
Yet there is a silent factor that often limits sustainable church growth.
It is not a lack of prayer.
It is not a lack of vision.
It is not a lack of preaching.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗘 𝗜𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦:

When workers are not trained and equipped, several things begin to happen:

❌ Ministry systems begin to weaken

But this is not how the Church was designed to function.
A strong church is built when a strong leader develops a strong, trained, and committed workforce.

Many ministries struggle because the entire burden rests on the pastor alone.

• The pastor preaches
• The pastor organizes

Leadership in ministry is not assigned casually; it is developed, tested, and discerned. Rushing this process often produces instability, while careful formation produces lasting structure.
Here are six essential steps before appointing anyone to leadership:

1. 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗠 𝗕𝗘𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗠 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗥𝗢𝗟𝗘𝗦
Training is the foundation of sustainable leadership.
Jesus Himself spent time instructing and modeling before sending His disciples on their assignment. Exposure must precede deployment.

2. 𝗘𝗩𝗔𝗟𝗨𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗕𝗘𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗚𝗜𝗙𝗧𝗦
Gifting can attract attention, but character determines longevity.
A gifted individual without integrity can destabilize systems faster than an untrained but faithful servant.

3. 𝗢𝗕𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗜𝗥 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘
Faithful service in hidden or low-level assignments is a key indicator of readiness for leadership.
Consistency in unseen responsibility reveals true reliability more than public performance ever will.

4. 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗜𝗥 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗔𝗨𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗬
Submission to correction is a non-negotiable leadership quality.
A person who resists guidance will struggle to exercise authority healthily and constructively.

5. 𝗚𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗠 𝗦𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧
Progressive responsibility is a biblical principle of leadership development.
Small assignments serve as a testing ground for faithfulness, consistency, and maturity before larger roles are entrusted.

6. 𝗦𝗘𝗘𝗞 𝗗𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧
Beyond observation and evaluation, spiritual discernment is essential.
There are dimensions of calling and character that require divine insight to properly interpret and confirm placement.
Proper leadership appointment builds stability, protects the vision, and ensures long-term ministry growth.
