Today ✍️let's talk about SISERA the man who was fighting Deborah the woman who was very strong 💪🏿and she became a strong leader 💪

SISERA ✍️✍️

Sisera was the commander-in-chief for King Jabin of Hazor, a Canaanite city-state. His power came from technology and terror:✍️
900 iron chariots basically the armored vehicles of 1200 BC. They dominated flat ground and made Canaanites feel unstoppable.
- *20 years of oppression* - Judges 4:3 says he “cruelly oppressed the Israelites.” He controlled the Jezreel Valley, blocked trade routes, and made life unsafe for Israelites in the hill country.

He wasn’t fighting Deborah personally. He was fighting to preserve Canaanite control over Israel. Deborah was the judge and prophetess GOD raised up when Israel finally cried out for help.

*Why the fight happened*

1✍️Israel’s spiritual drift

After Joshua died, Israel turned away from GOD.

✍️.GOD allowed oppression to wake them up. Judges 4:1-2

2. ✍️GOD, response

He told Deborah to call Barak and gather 10,000 men at Mount Tabor. The plan was to draw Sisera to the Kishon River valley.

3✍️Sisera’s calculation

He saw Israel mobilizing and thought his chariots would crush them easily. He didn’t know GOD was about to neutralize that advantage with a storm and a flash flood in the Kishon valley.

4✍️Result

Sisera’s chariots got stuck in the mud, his army panicked, and he fled on foot. He was killed in Jael’s tent. Judges 4:15-22

So the fight was really: *God’s deliverance vs. human systems of oppression*.

✍️What we can learn from our enemies

1 ✍️What looks unstoppable is often dependent on conditions*
Sisera’s chariots were unbeatable on dry, flat ground. When GOD sent rain, they became a liability.

✍️Lesson for you my dear about DEBORAH ✍️

The thing intimidating you usually has a weakness.
Fear, addiction, debt, rejection - they rely on certain conditions to control you. Change the conditions with GOD, and their grip breaks.

Deborah was a prophetess and judge in Israel around 1200 BC. At that time Israel was being oppressed by King Jabin of Canaan and his general Sisera for 20 years. People were scared to travel, and no one wanted to lead.

Deborah held court under a palm tree and people came to her for disputes and guidance. She called Barak, a military leader, and told him God’s command: gather 10,000 men and go fight Sisera. Barak said he’d only go if Deborah went with him.

She went. The battle happened at Mount Tabor, and GOD routed Sisera’s army. Sisera fled and was killed by Jael, another woman. After that, Deborah and Barak sang a victory song that’s in Judges 5. For 40 years Israel had peace.

✍️What stands out about Deborah:

1✍️She led without needing permission

Israel didn’t have female leaders at the time. Deborah didn’t wait for someone else to step up. She used what GOD had given her right where she was.

2. ✍️She was confident but not arrogant*

She gave clear direction, but she pointed everything back to GOD. “Has not the Lord gone ahead of you?” Judges 4:14. Her authority came from listening to GOD first.

3✍️She worked with others, didn’t compete

She didn’t try to replace Barak. She partnered with him and with Jael. Strong women don’t need to do it all alone.

4. ✍️She celebrated GOD, not herself

After the victory, her song is all about what GOD did. No “look what I did” energy.

✍️Points to encourage someone using Deborah’s story:*

1✍️You can lead where you are.”

Deborah wasn’t a queen or general. She was a judge under a tree. God uses ordinary places and people. Tell someone: stop waiting for the perfect position to start leading.

2. ✍️Courage grows when you hear GOD first.

Deborah acted because she knew what GOD said. If someone’s stuck in fear, remind them to get clarity before they act.

3 ✍️It’s okay to need people.”*

Let's close the Day with RUTH story... yesterday we read Naomi story 💪🏿💪🏿 i was so interesting with this two girls for sure ....may GOD connect you with your RUTH or NAOMI THIS NIGHT 🌃

MY LOVE 💕 LETS GO TO RUTH ✍️✍️✍️✍️✍️✍️✍️✍️✍️

Ruth was a Moabite woman married to a Jewish man. When her husband died, she was left a young widow in a foreign land. Her mother-in-law Naomi decided to return to Bethlehem in Judah, telling Ruth and her sister-in-law Orpah to go back to their families.

Orpah left, but Ruth said:
_“Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.”_

So Ruth went with Naomi, even though it meant poverty and uncertainty. In Bethlehem she worked in the fields to provide for them, gleaning grain behind the harvesters. Her humility and hard work caught the attention of Boaz, a relative of Naomi’s husband. Boaz showed her kindness, and eventually married her. Ruth became the great-grandmother of King David, and is in the lineage of Jesus.

WHAT I LEARN ABOUT RUTH ✍️✍️✍️

1. Loyalty over convenience

She chose to stick with Naomi when it was easier to leave. Loyalty shows who you are when no one’s watching.

2. Humility and hard work

Ruth was A princess in her own land, she became a gleaner without complaining. GOD often opens doors through faithful, quiet work.

3. Courage to start over*

She left everything familiar to follow Naomi and her GOD. New seasons require leaving what’s comfortable.

4. GOD honors faithfulness*

Her ordinary obedience led to an extraordinary place in GOD story.

✍️✍️To someone grieving or feeling stuck*: “Ruth lost a lot, but she didn’t stay stuck. GOD was working even when she couldn’t see it. Your faithfulness now matters more than you think.”

✍️To someone starting over*: “Like Ruth, you can step into a new place with courage. GOD goes with you into unfamiliar ground.

✍️✍️To someone feeling unseen*: “Ruth was just gleaning in a field, but GOD noticed.
