PREPARE BEFORE YOU ENTER INTO MINISTRY
BECAUSE THERE ARE DEEP THINGS THEREOF BY APOSTLE CANTONA JOSEPH

Because what you will see in ministry can shock you.

But if God prepares you before He promotes you, the shocks will not destroy you.

The storms will come.
The betrayals will come.
The warfare will come.

The criticism will come.

PREPARE BEFORE YOU ENTER INTO MINISTRY
BECAUSE THERE ARE DEEP THINGS THEREOF BY APOSTLE CANTONA JOSEPH

MAN OF GOD PREPARE FOR BETRAYAL

Judas was not outside the ministry.
He was inside.

The deepest wounds often come from people closest to you.

This is one lesson ministry taught me.
Not everybody around you is assigned to your future.

Some are lessons.
Some are tests.

Some are distractions.
Some are destiny helpers.

Ask God for discernment.

PREPARE FINANCIALLY

Many ministers enter ministry without understanding stewardship.

Poverty does not make people spiritual.

Wastefulness does not honor God.
Learn management.

Learn accountability.
Learn contentment.

Learn stewardship.
Jesus had a treasury.

The early church handled resources.

Ministry requires wisdom not only anointing.

PREPARE TO DIE TO SELF

The greatest preparation for ministry is death.

Death to pride.

Death to applause of men.

Death to selfish ambition.
Death to competition.

Death to recognition.
John the Baptist said:

“He must increase, but I must decrease.” (John 3:30)

The higher God wants to take you, the deeper He must break you.

Broken men carry glory safely.

Man of God please

Do not rush.
Do not force doors.

Do not imitate another man’s ministry.
Do not pursue titles.

Do not pursue crowds.
Do not pursue popularity.

Pursue God.

Many young ministers are looking for platforms to be known
Few are looking for encounters.

Many want followers on social media
Few want intimacy.

Many want influence.
Few want transformation.

The secret of lasting ministry is not public power but private dealings with God.

The men who shook generations were first broken in secret places.

Moses spent forty years in the wilderness.

David was trained in caves.

Joseph was trained in prisons.

Paul was trained in obscurity.
Preparation is never a waste.

If God has called you, answer the call.

But before you enter the battlefield, prepare.

Before you wear the crown, prepare.

Before you mount the altar, prepare.

Before you stand before men, spend time with God.

PREPARE BEFORE YOU ENTER INTO MINISTRY
BECAUSE THERE ARE DEEP THINGS THEREOF BY APOSTLE CANTONA JOSEPH

2. YOU WILL DISCOVER THAT MINISTRY ATTRACTS WARFARE

Many people think ministry is only about preaching sermons.

No.
Ministry is warfare.

The moment Heaven announces you, hell notices you.

Every territory has strongholds.
Every harvest has resistance.
Every breakthrough has opposition.

The Apostle Paul said:

“For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.” (1 Corinthians 16:9)

Notice that adversaries came because a door opened.
Prepare yourself spiritually.

If your prayer life is weak before ministry, ministry will expose it.

3. YOU WILL DISCOVER THAT SOME PEOPLE LOVE YOUR GIFT BUT HATE YOUR PERSON

Many will celebrate what God placed on your life but secretly dislike you.

Do not be surprised.

Joseph’s brothers hated him because of what he carried.

David was hated because of the favor on his life.
Jesus was hated because of the light He carried.

do not become bitter.

Keep loving people
Keep serving God.
Keep your heart pure.

4. YOU WILL DISCOVER THAT LONELINESS IS PART OF LEADERSHIP

There are mountains God will call you to climb alone.

There are tears nobody will understand.
There are burdens you cannot explain.

There are nights when only God will understand what you are carrying.

Paul said:

“At my first answer no man stood with me.” (2 Timothy 4:16)

But immediately he added:

“Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me.” (2 Timothy 4:17)

The greatest preparation for ministry is learning how to walk with God when nobody is around.

PREPARE YOUR CHARACTER MORE THAN YOUR GIFT MAN OF GOD

gifts can open doors.

Character keeps doors open.

Many men fell not because they lacked anointing.
They fell because they lacked character.

Samson had power but lacked discipline.
Saul had position but lacked obedience.

Judas had proximity to Jesus but lacked purity.
Never allow your gift to become bigger than your character.

The oil flows best through clean vessels.

PREPARE BEFORE YOU ENTER INTO MINISTRY
BECAUSE THERE ARE DEEP THINGS THEREOF BY APOSTLE CANTONA JOSEPH

Many young men and women are excited about ministry because they have seen the glory, but very few have prepared for the battles behind the glory. Ministry is beautiful, but ministry can also be brutal. The same ministry that makes a man can destroy a man who enters it unprepared.

I have walked through seasons that many people celebrate today, but they never saw the tears, the betrayals, the misunderstandings, the loneliness, the warfare, and the sacrifices behind the scenes.

prepare before you enter ministry.

Man and woman of God
Before you pray for the microphone, pray for capacity.

Before you ask God for nations ask Him for character.

Before you desire crowds, desire high consecration.

Jesus spent thirty years preparing for three and a half years of public ministry. The preparation was longer than the manifestation.

The tragedy of this generation is that many want manifestation without preparation.

The Bible says:

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” (Luke 2:52)

Before He carried power, He carried preparation.

Before He healed the sick, He was prepared.
Before He raised the dead, He was prepared.

Before Heaven announced Him, Heaven trained Him.

What will shock you

1. YOU WILL DISCOVER THAT NOT EVERYBODY CLAPPING FOR YOU LOVES YOU

One of the greatest shocks in ministry is realizing that applause does not always mean acceptance.

The same people shouting “Hosanna” today may shout “Crucify Him” tomorrow.

Jesus experienced it.
Paul experienced it.
David experienced it.

Every genuine servant of God will experience it.

prepare your heart.

Never build your confidence on people’s praises.
Build it on God’s approval.

“For if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.” (Galatians 1:10)

10 SIGNS YOUR CHURCH LEADERSHIP IS GETTING WEAK(PART 2) BY APOSTLE CANTONA JOSEPH

6. THE LEADER CAN'T HANDLE CRITICISM OR DISAGREEMENT

Weak leaders are deeply threatened by anyone who sees things differently. When a member raises a concern the weak leader interprets it as an attack.

A leader who cannot handle disagreement has confused their ego with their authority.

7. NOBODY KNOWS WHERE THE CHURCH IS HEADING

If the people in your church cannot tell you in clear terms what the church exists to do, where it is heading and what it is building, it is wrong.

A church without a clear vision is not resting. It is drifting. Drifting always ends somewhere you did not intend to be.

8. SIN IS CONSISTENTLY OVERLOOKED IN THE NAME OF GRACE

The congregation that is never confronted about sin is not a congregation experiencing grace. It is a congregation being failed by its leadership.

Grace without truth is not the gospel. It is a counterfeit that makes people comfortable on their way to destruction.

9. FINANCES ARE HANDLED WITHOUT ACCOUNTABILITY

Where there is weak leadership there is almost always financial opacity. Nobody outside the pastor knows how much comes in or how it is spent.

There is no finance team. There is no accountability structure. Questions about money are treated as attacks on the man of God.

10. THERE IS A CULTURE OF FEAR

In a weakly led church, people are afraid. Afraid to ask questions. Afraid to disagree. Afraid to being their real selves because they have learned that vulnerability is not safe in this environment.

The leadership rules through intimidation whether intentional or not. People smile in the building but they do not feel free. They attend but they do not belong. They serve but they do not feel loved.

10 SIGNS YOUR CHURCH LEADERSHIP IS GETTING WEAK(PART 1) BY APOSTLE CANTONA JOSEPH

Weak leadership does not always look weak from the outside. Some of the most weakly led churches have beautiful facilities, large congregations, impressive social media pages and busy programs.

If you are a leader, this teaching is not to condemn you. It is to help you see clearly so that you can make the adjustments.

1. DECISIONS ARE MADE TO PLEASE WHO WILL NOT BE UPSET

Weak leaders are governed by the fear of man. They make decisions designed to keep the peace rather than decisions designed to keep the standard.

A church whose decisions are driven by the fear of upsetting people rather than the fear of God, is a church led by anxiety not by authority.

2. DEFAULTING LEADERS ARE NEVER CORRECTED OR REMOVED

In a weakly led ministry, people do what they want because they have learned that there are no real consequences for doing so.

Workers show up late or not at all and nothing is said. Leaders behave in ways that contradict the values of the ministry and it is overlooked.

3. THERE IS NO DEVELOPMENT OF THE NEXT GENERATION OF LEADERS

A leader who is not raising other leaders is not actually leading. They are just occupying a position.

Weak leaders are often threatened by the development of capable people around them. They do not invest in the growth of their workers.

4. THE CHURCH HAS NOT GROWN OR CHANGED IN YEARS

When a church has been the same size with the same problems for years with no meaningful growth, something is wrong at the leadership level.

Growth is not always numerical. But a living organism always shows signs of life.

5. LEADERSHIP DECISIONS ARE POLITICAL

When people maneuver for influence and position, factions develop and workers compete. The ministry begins to feel more like a political arena than a house of God.

Politics thrives in the absence of clear compelling purposeful leadership. Strengthen the leadership and the politics will have nothing to feed on.

Not every river that flows carries life. Some are tainted—poisonous currents disguised as opportunity. In the broader marketplace, you need sharp discernment. Just because a door opens doesn’t mean God sent it. Yes, your gift will make room for you and open doors, but if those platforms do not glorify God, then partaking in them amounts to drinking the cup of demons.

Many sell their souls for silver. They chase fame, money, and popularity—treasures that cannot save. They bow at altars of compromise, cheapening the gospel for a few coins. But what does it profit a person to gain the whole world yet lose their very soul?

May we be found faithful. Not chasing every current, not bowing to every platform. Refusing to cheapen the gospel or water down truth for acceptance. Oh God, have mercy on us. Grant us eyes to see and hearts to stand. Let us flow in rivers that carry Your life alone—even if they are narrow and few walk them. For in the end, faithfulness, not fame, is our reward.

THE LESSONS FROM SAMUEL'S SONS: A WARNING FOR TODAY'S LIFE .BY APOSTLE CANTONA JOSEPH

3. The Consequences of Corruption

Because of the corruption of Samuel's sons, the elders of Israel demanded a king.
Their actions affected an entire nation. Sin is never purely personal; it often impacts families, churches, workplaces, and communities.
Every decision we make influences others.
Leaders carry a special responsibility before God.
Our character can either inspire people toward God or push them away.

4. God Looks for Obedience, Not Position
Samuel's sons held important positions, but position alone did not make them righteous.
Many people today rely on titles, church attendance, or family backgrounds. God is more concerned with obedience and a transformed heart.
A church title does not replace holiness.
Christian identity must be matched by Christian living.
God examines our hearts, not merely our status.

Imagine a beautiful tree standing in a field. The trunk appears strong, but the roots are diseased. Eventually the tree falls because what is hidden determines what is visible.
Likewise, our spiritual lives are sustained by our inner character. If integrity is missing, outward success cannot stand forever.

Samuel was a faithful servant of God, but the failure of his sons serves as a warning to every believer. We must guard our hearts against greed, lead our families in the ways of God, and walk in integrity.
God is calling His people today to live lives that honor Him both publicly and privately.

If there are areas of compromise, dishonesty, or neglect in your life, this is the time to return to the Lord. Ask God to purify your heart, strengthen your family, and help you walk in obedience. His grace is available to restore, renew, and guide all who sincerely seek Him.

"Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me." (Psalm 51:10)

THE LESSONS FROM SAMUEL'S SONS: A WARNING FOR TODAY'S LIFE .BY APOSTLE CANTONA JOSEPH

However, it is important to note that the Bible does not record major personal sins committed by the prophet Samuel as it does for people like David or Samson. Samuel was a faithful servant of God. One area often discussed is his failure to restrain or properly guide his sons, who later became corrupt judges.

Samuel was one of the greatest prophets and judges in Israel. He was dedicated to God from childhood and faithfully served the Lord throughout his life. Yet, despite Samuel's personal faithfulness, his sons did not follow his example.

The Bible says:
"But his sons did not walk in his ways. They turned aside after dishonest gain and accepted bribes and perverted justice." (1 Samuel 8:3)
This teaches us that spiritual success in one area of life does not automatically guarantee success in every area. We must remain vigilant in our homes, families, and personal relationships.

1. The Danger of Neglecting Spiritual Leadership at Home
Samuel was busy serving the nation of Israel, but his sons became corrupt leaders.
Many people today are successful in ministry, business, or careers but fail to invest enough time in guiding their families spiritually. God desires that we not only serve Him publicly but also lead our households in righteousness.

Parents should teach their children God's Word.
Christian leaders should set Godly examples both in public and private.
Spiritual growth must begin at home.

2. The Sin of Greed and Dishonesty
Samuel's sons pursued dishonest gain. They accepted bribes and abused their positions.
Greed remains one of the greatest temptations today. People compromise their integrity for money, promotions, contracts, and personal advantage.
Refuse corruption in business and the workplace.
Be honest even when dishonesty appears profitable.
Remember that God sees every hidden action.

‎DON’T LET YOUR HOPE DIE🔥🔥BY APOSTLE CANTONA JOSEPH

‎There are people walking around with a smile on their face while carrying battles nobody knows about.

‎People who once had big dreams.
‎People who used to pray with passion.
‎People who truly believed their future would be brighter than their past.

‎But life happened.

‎Disappointment hit hard.
‎Waiting seasons dragged on.
‎Pain stole their excitement.
‎And little by little, hope started fading.

‎One of the greatest tragedies in life is not having little money.
‎It is losing hope.

‎Because when hope disappears, motivation dries up.
‎Faith grows weak.
‎Vision becomes blurry.
‎The future no longer feels worth fighting for.

‎But here's the good news: God has not forgotten the broken, the weary, or the discouraged.

‎He is still in the business of restoring people who feel empty inside.

‎No matter how long the night has been, morning is still coming.
‎No matter how many times you've been knocked down, God can lift you again.
‎No matter how hopeless things look, Heaven has not run out of miracles.

‎Many of the strongest people you admire today were once on the verge of giving up.
‎They cried.
‎They struggled.
‎They questioned everything.
‎But they kept going and God met them in their lowest moments.

‎Your current situation is a chapter, not the whole book.
‎This season is temporary.
‎Your story is still being written.

‎As the Psalmist declared:

‎"Why are you cast down, O my soul? Why are you troubled within me? Put your hope in God..." — Psalm 42:11

‎Today, choose to believe again.
‎Choose to pray again.
‎Choose to trust again.

‎May God breathe fresh strength into every tired heart.
‎May He restore every lost dream and every shattered expectation.
‎And may those who have been carrying silent pain rise again with renewed faith, renewed courage, and renewed fire.

‎Your comeback is not cancelled. Amen.
