Theme: BE WATCHFUL.
Key Scriptures:Ephesians 5:10; Phillipians 1:6, 1 Timothy 4:1-2
God has demonstrated His love to humans over the ages. Everything He does is for the good of man. David even at one point wondered what is it about man that God values man so much. God has demonstrated too that He always might on our behalf. All we are expected to do is be watchful and walk in His will.
Ephesians 5:10-11
[10]and find out what pleases the Lord.Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.
We should purpose to search and know what pleases God. Our situations and way of life may limit us in walking in the ways of God. Our workmates, business partners, spouses and even competitors may push us to walk away from what pleases God. However we are reminded to strive to so what's acceptable before God. One of the best ways to walk in the ways of God is to refuse to do evil and rather expose them. We ought to exhibit deeds that bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit and not deeds of darkness that bear nothing.
Philippians 1:6
[6]being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Our God is God of completion. Nothing God begins gets wasted. This is a calm assurance that as long as we live in accordance with His word, the good work that He began in us, He will keep it, maintain it, watch over it until the day of Jugement. Your work as a christian is simple. Know God's will and let Him do the rest.
What's the call in spirit?
1 Timothy 4:1-2
[1]The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.
We are cautioned to be careful that in these end times, situations will force many to follow deceiving spirits. You will have a business next to someone who isn't godly and they prosper than you. Do no follow them. They aren't worshipping the true God. Stay on course. The one who began the good work will follow it to completion. You are the chosen of the Lord.

Theme: Anti-Christ.
Key Scriptures: 1 John 2:18-20; 2 Thessalonians 2:3
Many people have an abstract concept of who the anti-christ is. However as an individual, who is Anti-Christ to you? Let's delve into the scriptures.
"Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour.They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth."1 John 2:18-20 (NIV).
The last hour will be marked with the arrival of many antichrists—false teachers opposing Christ's true nature. These deceivers, who previously appeared to be part of the church, left because they were not truly aligned with the apostolic truth. However, believers possess an "anointing from the Holy One" granting them discernment and knowledge of the truth to resist these deceptions.
While a final, singular Antichrist is expected, John emphasizes that many preliminary "antichrists" (false teachers) are already present, often denying that Jesus is the Christ or that he came in the flesh.Those who abandon true doctrine reveal they were never truly part of the faith community.The Holy Spirit, who gives believers the discernment and knowledge is needed to distinguish the anti-christ and true believers.
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
"Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction."(NIV).
This verse interprets the timing of the Fay of the Lord by stating it will not occur until two events happen first: a great apostasy (rebellion and falling away from the faith) and the revelation of the man of lawlessness (Antichrist). It warns believers against deception claiming this time has already arrived. The Holy Spirit will still come very handy in teaching us all these truths.
What is the call in spirit?
Daniel 12:10
[10]Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
God will purify those who do not have the antichrist spirit in them. Thy will be moved from glory to glory. They will be refined in areas they are crude in matters spirituality.However the wicked will remain the way they are and doomed for destruction. Those with the spirit of God are considered wise and understand how God works in us and purifies us in preparation for the second coming of Christ.

Sunday February 22 2026
Theme: GOD'S LOVE
Key Scriptures: Hebrews 10:24-29, 1 Peter 4:9-10.

Most people do not comprehend God's love. This love is undefined. It's unconditional. It doesn't end. This is in stark contrast to earthly love. Earthly love has boundaries. It's defined and is conditional. God first loved us and that's why He even gave His only son to us. First to the scriptures.

CAUTION: You can choose to stop reading at this point or continue. If you continue, reading the Scriptures and explanation, then know there is no going back!

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left,but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?" Hebrews 10:24-29 (NIV)

As a contemporary christian, these verses caution us against taking for granted God's love. God has loved us and gave us His only son so that we may die to sin and live abundantly. However there's a catch. We have to stop sinning. If we sin even after we know it's wrong,then it's nolonger sinning. It becomes blasphemy. God doesn't forgive blasphemy. As a saved Christian, if you sin from today , now that know, you have effectively confined yourself to eternal damnation. Refuse to sin. Choose to do what is acceptable before God. Love God with all your heart,soul and mind.

What is the call in spirit?
1 Peter 4:9-10
"Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms." (NIV).

This second part emphasises on loving your neighbours as we love ourselves. The gifts God has bestowed on us as stewards must be put to good use. We must bear good fruits for by our fruits, we shall be known. Serve others for greatness is tied to servanthood.
Today and forever, love God and love your neighbour. That's the surest way to avoid blasphemy.
