We had such a good time in church yesterday! 🙏🏽 Shepherd Winnie Mutua preached a powerful message titled “Ordinary, Extraordinary Transformation.”

She reminded us that extraordinary means going beyond the usual, while transformation is a process where God shapes our lives. The disciples were ordinary people from different backgrounds—Matthew was a tax collector, Simon a zealot—but when Jesus called them, they left everything and followed Him. They walked with Him, learned from Him, and were later sent out to preach. Their lives were changed through Christ, and Acts 4:13 shows that people recognized they had been with Jesus.

The message challenged us to ask: How are we allowing God to transform us? We must commit to following Christ, prayer, fasting, and studying the Word. Jesus trained His disciples before sending them out, and God’s Word should also transform us. As we seek Him in the secret place, He equips us with power for His purpose. We may be ordinary, but God can use us for extraordinary things. We are called to be His companions, to preach, and to walk in His power.

We had a beautiful day in church today as our Episcopal Lady ministered a powerful message on "Holy Communion/The Miracle Meal."

She reminded us that Holy Communion is not merely a religious ritual, but a sacred ordinance instituted by Jesus Christ before His crucifixion. Rooted in the Jewish Passover, it points to Christ as our perfect Passover Lamb, whose body was broken and whose blood was shed to establish the New Covenant. The bread reminds us that Jesus is the Bread of Life, bringing spiritual nourishment, joy, and revelation, while the cup symbolizes His precious blood that brings forgiveness, redemption, healing, victory, and divine protection.

We were also challenged from 1 Corinthians 11:23–34 to approach the Lord's Table with reverence and self-examination. As Jesus commanded, "Do this in remembrance of Me," may we always partake of Holy Communion with understanding, faith, and gratitude, remembering His finished work on the cross and proclaiming His victory until He comes again.
