"I condemn, in the strongest terms possible, the appalling attack on Witima ACK Church in Othaya during yesterday's service. Regardless of one’s political affiliations, the use of tear gas and live bullets in a house of worship is a line that should never be crossed. My heart goes out to the innocent women and children who were forced to flee in terror, and those who were injured in the chaos. We cannot become a nation where the safety of our families and the sanctity of our faith are sacrificed for political gain. I demand that those responsible for harming innocent Kenyans be held fully accountable."
