Set priorities right
Someone asked, Where are the preachers who used to preach so powerfully in theirs youth days? Or singers who would sing and heaven would come down when they were youths?
Let me tell you where Some are. They are raising families. The men are great husband and fathers who are trying to make ends meet with high school fees and rent demands. The women are wives and mum's. some just mum's, They too are trying to be best mums and raise their children in the ways of the Lord. Some have been forced to be stay at home mum to home schooling children.
But Guess what, it might not have been easy for them, but God is pleased with them for making the right life priorities
1st priority is our relationship with God the
2nd priority is our family then
3rd our ministry/ career and everyone else.
If you know of someone who still has a growing family, its ok to lower your expectation on them. Some might chose their family before they chose you.
And to the ministers out there who are mums and dads and slowed on ministry or chasing their dream career,
there is a time and season for everything. set your priorities right and balance your life. stillness is still part of preparation in God and not a delay of your destiny. Family is your first ministry.
