With grateful hearts, we would like to invite you to join us for an *Online Thanksgiving Service* as we come together to honor God for His faithfulness throughout this season.

Despite the challenges and victories alike, the Lord has sustained us, strengthened our ministry, and kept us united. This service will be a moment to pause, reflect, give thanks, and lift our voices in gratitude for all He has done among us and through us.

*1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 NKJV:*
_But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope.For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep._

*WE HAVE HOPE*
We all have lost someone we loved.Because of our faith in Jesus,we have hope.There must have been people in Paul's time who questioned the resurrection of the dead since Paul made such a point of telling the Thessalonians that as Jesus rose, so he will raise those who have died in Christ.

Death is such a mystery.There are those who claim that they can communicate with the dead.I must admit I'm skeptical.That doesn't mean that I think that they are all fake.I just say that I am skeptical. Do I believe that people have had experiences that are unexplainable? Yes,of course I do.

I can't explain the many times over the centuries how Jesus have appeared to people.Were they just visions?It doesn't seem so.Too many people were witnesses to the events. I believe that the main reason Jesus appeared to the disciples after the resurrection was to let us know that this is also what God plans for us.

*PRAYER:*
Almighty Father,thank you for always taking good care of us,you understand our weaknesses,fears and worries.Thank you for always embracing us with love under the shadow of your wings.Amen

*THE EXCELLENCE OF OUR SERVICE*
Beloved, it is a great honor to serve the Lord.But as our theme scripture instructs, our service must be done heartily, as to the Lord Himself.It is a critical truth to understand that God is not just interested in what we do,but how we do it.Whether you are in the choir,on the ushering team, in media,or any other ministry,a careless spirit in your work is displeasing to the Father.

The Lord desires for you to excel in your service to Him.This is not about being a perfectionist for the sake of human praise; it is about honoring God with the very best of your ability.

God is not moved by big titles or busy schedules. He is pleased by people who serve with a spirit of excellence, even in the smallest of tasks.Whether it is arranging chairs, handling the sound system, or carrying out administrative duties,do it with the understanding that you are doing it for the King of kings.

Take some time today to reflect on your service. Ask yourself: “Is this truly the best I can offer heaven? How can I improve my service?” Where you find areas that need change, be intentional about making those improvements. Let's make our service a sweet fragrance to our God.

*PRAYER:*
Loving Father, I thank You for the privilege to serve You.I am eternally grateful for the calling You have placed upon my life.I pray with thanksgiving for a heart that is committed to excellence in all I do for You in Jesus name.Amen

Monday 6th October 2025

*Colossians 3:12-14 NKJV:*
_Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, long-suffering;bearing with one another,and forgiving one another,if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection._

*THE PATH TO PEACE*
Colossians talks about how not to live if we want to spend eternity with God,and in this passage tells us how to live in order to have happiness and peace now and forever.We need a compassionate heart,we need to be humble and forgiving.This cloak of goodness sounds simple and it is.

The problem is that we find it hard to live up to.We want to be forgiven but find it hard to forgive.We want others to put up with our faults and failings,but don't like to deal with the same things in others.It can be hard to be humble,to admit that others are smarter,more skilled,more talented than we are.

If we walk in love,then this becomes easier.But,walking in love is not as easy as it seems either.However,if we want peace,we need to work on this.Hatred is born from fear,and love can cast out fear.When we eliminate fear from our lives, we can have peace.The world around us may be in chaos,but we don't have to buy into it.

We reap what we sow in life and if we are kind,people tend to be kind to us.If we are compassionate,people will be compassionate to us. If we don't forgive others, why should anyone forgive us?There is another saying, "What goes around, comes around." If we are living the way of love and peace,then the reward in heaven will be great.

*PRAYER:*
Almighty Father in the name of Jesus Christ,thank you for this word,I honor you and glorify your name for your love and compassion over my life.Help me love,and treat others with love and also forgive them when they do me wrong in Jesus name.Amen
