Why Some People Fail When It Comes To Love And Marriage

When it comes to love many cannot be accountable for their action because they lack the spirit of commitment. When it comes to love and commitment it requires a person who desires to share their mind and love with the person they chose to love.

"For this reason, a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh." Genesis 2:24

Love and commitment should be something that both parties are willing to share with each other. Anytime there is a one-way commitment when it comes to love, love will tend to elude the one that desires to be loved, for love cannot love without receiving love in return.

"When a man takes a new wife, he shall not go out with the army nor be charged with any duty; he shall be free at home one year and shall give happiness to his wife whom he has taken." Deuteronomy 24:5

To share love requires a commitment of two people who are willing to not look at their individual needs but the needs of each other as one.

One flesh, One love. No love can survive without a solid foundation of love. This is a spiritual love given from above sealed by the love of our Heavenly Father so that nothing can come between this love.

"Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless." Ephesians 5:25-27

When God brings two people together in love and marriage it will last a lifetime. However, it, when we chose to love others and to be loved on our accord, is when love fails.

It fails because we allow our physical needs to control us and direct us in our search for love. A love like this will only pass during the night and will lack the commitment that binds love and marriage

Praying So Others Will Believe

" Tongues, then, are a sign, not for believers but for unbelievers; " 1 Corinthians 14:22

Tongues! Such controversy over what should be a sign of God's power and love! Tongues are inspired by God, not by those of us who believe in the present love and manifested power of God.

Tongues are for those who do not believe. We all wonder. Sometimes we even doubt, for we must walk our walk of faith by faith rather than by sight.

We can survey the wars and rumors of wars in our world and may wonder if indeed God exists. We can wonder why He does not act to stop the madness of the world.

Although we may wonder or perhaps doubt, we who truly believe do not need signs from God. When we pray for a sign, let us pray for a sign not for ourselves, but a sign for those who do not believe. Let us pray for a sign so others will believe.

Dead Dead To Sin

I was once dead in sin but through the grace of God my soul was renewed in spirit, in mind, and filled with the joy of serving The Lord for his Holy Spirit leads me and directs me in the things of the Lord.

" In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. This New Year, And How To Pray

" I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers." Ephesians 1:16

What kinds of things do you pray for when you pray to Jesus? Do you ask for Him to give you good health, financial success, or a shiny new car? Many times when we approach God we ask for things that only benefit ourselves.

Yet we meet with loved ones in the middle of great trials who pour out their hearts to us. You can help them.

Use your voice and petition God on their behalf. When you pray today, remember to serve others through your prayer.

Mummy, in the house,Kindly proclaim this : I (your name),
I delete my name from the generation of women who labour and die at the beginning of their harvest.
I delete myself from the order of women who work and another enjoys their labour.
I belong to the order of women who live to a full ripe old age.
I belong to the generation who sees their children's children up to the fourth generation.
I belong to the generation of women who will not die without fulfilling the Lord's counsel and purpose for their lives.
If you believe in this confession of faith, please bless others with it.
Blessed mothers.
1.God will make me the mother of my children till my old age.
2. I shall not bury any of my children.

Seek First

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
Matthew 6:33, NIV
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

TODAY’S WORD
We need to see keeping God first place as the vital necessity to a blessed, fulfilled life. In today’s Scripture, Jesus gives the key: Seek first His kingdom. In other words, don’t seek blessings; seek the Blessor. Don’t be consumed by things. Don’t chase after money, fame, fortune, bigger this, bigger that. Chase after God. If you will seek the Blessor, He promises all these other things will be added to you. Not a few things; “all these things.” God is a God of abundance. When you keep Him first place, you won’t be able to contain all the good things He will bring across your path. 💚
If we’re going to keep God first place, there’s no substitute for spending time with Him. You have to realize that taking time to invest in your spiritual well-being is as vital a necessity as eating for your physical well-being. Get alone with God at the beginning of your day to pray and read His Word. If you diligently seek Him, your life will be filled with His presence and blessings.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
“Father, thank You that I can come to You by faith, knowing that as I seek You and Your kingdom and righteousness You will provide everything I need. Thank You for the blessings and favor that are mine as I keep You first place in my life. I believe that I will lack no good thing. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.” May God bless guide and protect you

Your Heavenly Father Cares About You

For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.

TODAY’S WORD 🤎
Do not worry. Three simple words, mentioned three times by our Lord Jesus as He taught on not worrying about the necessities of life. Jesus really doesn't want us to worry about our needs!
My friends, The Lord Himself assures you that "your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things," and He wants to provide them!🩶
So if you are facing a pressing need today, or seeing lack in a certain area, take heart. Don't be discouraged. Your heavenly Father knows all about it and He is more than willing to meet that need because He loves you.

ENCOURAGEMENT 💚
Beloved, you have a good Father who cares deeply about you and wants to provide for your every need. So don't worry. Cast every care to Him now and be at rest (1 Pet. 5:7), knowing that He will abundantly provide!

The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.

COMMENTARY 💐
God is holy, righteous, and just. But, as important as these qualities are, he reveals them within his compassion, graciousness, patience, and overflowing mercy and love. We can not only obey, worship, and reverently respect God, we can also love, appreciate, and adore him! Maybe the greatest challenge, however, is to reflect the character of God in our own lives!

PRAYER FOR TODAY
LORD God Almighty, I not only trust in you, but I appreciate your faithfulness, your mercy, your love, your graciousness, and your patient compassion. Please help me display each of these virtues more fully. In the name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.

Life may drag one down more times than one cares to remember, and so often we may stumble through our days tired, worn, and heavy. Even though a holiday may help, what's meant in this passage here in Matthew is much more profound in suggesting that unlike holidays, the Lord, His word, His truth and His arms, are always open to receive us. Furthermore, His house is also always open. For it is important to make time for the Church, wherever possible. For the more time one may spend there, the more one may feel one's spirit rested, and the stronger one may become in facing the world again.

O Lord, You have chosen and called out Your Church from the world for Your own glory. You chastise us when we sin, but You will not forsake us, for You will accomplish Your purposes in us and through us for Your own glory. Even so, Lord, let it be!
