🌍 World Religion Day | Building Unity Through Faith in Kenya🌍
Today, on World Religion Day, observed every third Sunday of January since 1950, we join people of all faiths in reflecting on the profound role religion plays in shaping peaceful, just, and united societies.
Kenya’s strength lies in its religious and cultural diversity.
Interfaith understanding strengthens:
• National cohesion
• Peaceful coexistence
• Shared responsibility for the common good
Faith communities play a vital role in building a just and united nation.
Across traditions, religions are united by a common purpose to uplift humanity and foster love, justice, and fellowship.
“The fundamental purpose animating the Faith of God and His Religion is to safeguard the interests and promote the unity of the human race…”— Bahá’u’lláh
On World Religion Day, we celebrate the harmony of religions and the role of faith in strengthening peace and national cohesion in Kenya. May dialogue, respect, and shared action guide us toward a united and just society.
