Is our faith wanting?
Have you ever sat down and questioned yourself where is your faith on the scale of small to great faith or Zero to ten?
Because our faith varies, Paul spoke about this and said both of them have been accepted by God.
To some your faith may allow you to eat everything whereas another to eat only vegetables!

No one between the two is allowed to judge the other but rather treat one another with meekness and gentleness according to how their faith is.

Yesterday I had a dream and it was mysterious. It was Communicating a message to the whole body of Christ and it has something to do with our faith.

The Lord showed me two things: seeds that were planted by the rocks side and the seeds that were planted by the thorns.

What does this signify? Let's see from the scripture
Matthew 13:20-22
[20]The seeds that fell on rocky ground stand for those who receive the message gladly as soon as they hear it.
[21]But it does not sink deep into them, and they don't last long. So when trouble or persecution comes because of the message, they give up at once.
[22]The seeds that fell among thorn bushes stand for those who hear the message; but the worries about this life and the love for riches choke the message, and they don't bear fruit.

The Lord said many of us Christians are in these two categories on the rocks and in the thorns.
Our faith is wanting! Remember what Jesus told the disciples, "oh ye of little faith, how long must I be with you?"

The cares of this world, the troubles, the tribulations, the hardships, the pain, the sufferings, the disappointments have caused many of us to have shallow faith not able to withstand suffering because of the word of God which we have received.
Some of us have been offended and just like John the Baptist they want to confirm again, are you the Messiah or should we expect someone else?

"Blessed is he that is not offended in me."
Offense has caught the hearts of many people and it has weighed down their hearts to a point that they don't produce fruits!

So what can be done in the midst of such suffering and tribulations!
Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus for he is the Author and the finisher of our faith. Jesus did not give up because of the cross, on the contrary for the joy that was awaiting him, he saw it as nothing of disgrace to die at the cross and now he is seated at the right hand side of God's throne. (Hebrews 12:2)
Prayer and Fasting* why prayer let's refer from scripture;
Matthew 26:38, "Jesus said to them my soul is deeply troubled, exceeding sorrowful even unto death, another translation says, I'm almost dying of sorrow. Stay here and keep awake and keep watch with me!"

*Prayer strengthens us to be able to endure the betrayal, the tribulations, the hardships that come our way through even people who are very close to us like friends and family.

*Prayer weakens the flesh and empowers your soul to be able to overcome diverse temptations and stand on a just course.

*Prayer guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus such that we will not be weighed down by the cares of this world. For his peace which transcends human understanding shall keep our hearts and minds in union with Him(refer Amp: philippians 4:6-7 )

Have a Spiritual leader, high in rank according to the grace that is bestowed upon them. Someone like a prophet, a pastor, a teacher pray for you.
Luke 22:31-32
[31]“Simon, Simon! Listen! Satan has received permission to test all of you, to separate the good from the bad, as a farmer separates the wheat from the chaff.
[32]But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith will not fail. And when you turn back to me, you must strengthen your brothers.”

I pray for you today brethren that your faith will not fail in the midst of suffering, tribulations and all sorts of hardship.
I pray that the situations you will face will only strengthen you to keep on believing and trusting the Lord who is the Author and the finisher of our faith.
I pray for God's peace which transcends all knowledge and understanding to guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
May your hearts be set upon the prize you will receive after you have finished the race and kept your faith and overcome all suffering, may that prize fill you with joy to pass every test.
I pray that you will become stronger and stronger in faith by the day and God the owner of the heavens and the earth will reward your obedience to him and his will in Jesus Name, Amen.

Do not waver in faith nor stagger, keep your eyes on Jesus for he is able to make you and I to stand till the end of time.
You will not die in that situation, you will overcome it by the power of the Holy Spirit who lives inside of you. Then you will dance and praise the Lord for he finished it there at the cross triumphing over them all, all powers and all authority. Hallelujah!

So what do we say about all this:
Romans 8:33-35
[33]Who will accuse God's chosen people? God himself declares them not guilty!
[34]Who, then, will condemn them? Not Christ Jesus, who died, or rather, who was raised to life and is at the right-hand side of God, pleading with him for us!
[35]Who, then, can separate us from the love of Christ? Can trouble do it, or hardship or persecution or hunger or poverty or danger or death?

Love covers a multitude of sins.

What is love? Love is a deep affection towards someone or something according to Google. But what is the Love of God? It is not simply an emotion, it is a love that is beyond human comprehension, beyond emotions even beyond sin.

"While we were yet sinners, God still loved us!"
God loved us even while we were still his enemies and against him, that is the unconditional love of God. That he overlooked our sins and gave his only begotten Son that he may die for us, to save us from the sinful human nature that condemned us to death.

This is the best description to illustrate the Love of God towards us. "His love covered the multitude of sins that we carried!"

In the same way the Lord wants us to love even our enemies and do good to them. Jesus said, "what reward do you have if you love your friends only, even the heathens love their friends and favors them?"
Here is how you get a reward for your obedience: that you love those who persecute you and hate you and do good to them, that will show indeed you are a child of God!"

Why? Because God is love, and whoever claims that he loves God must first of all love his brother and sister( anyone who is flesh and blood ) then it will be Known that you indeed love God.

Do you really love God? That is a rhetorical question to you? How much good have you done to those who persecute you and hate you? Or how much of good have you reciprocated to those who despise you and accuse you and do all kinds of evil towards you?

It may be a difficult thing for a person living by the principles and standards of the flesh but to a man who lives by the Spirit it is possible to love your enemies and do good to them. Because such a person has already overcome the world.
1 John 5:3-5
[3]For our love for God means that we obey his commands. And his commands are not too hard for us,
[4]because every child of God is able to defeat the world. And we win the victory over the world by means of our faith.
[5]Who can defeat the world? Only the person who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

Jesus said, "flesh counts for nothing but life is in the Spirit."
John 14:23
[23]Jesus answered him, “Whoever loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and my Father and I will come to him and live with him.

Therefore,I urge you to live by the standards and principles of Spirit and you will not gratify your fleshly desires and you will please God.
Love and love and Love, this command has come from flesh and blood but from God.
"Love one another! " (John 15:17)

Why prayer is necessary.

One thing that people don't realize is that you can never grow to the next level of your life without prayer.
Prayer to us as Christians is not a by the way, it is a must, mandatory!

Why is prayer necessary? I will highlight a few points which you can take home and it can be of help to you and your children.

* Men ought always to pray and not to faint;
Prayer helps us not to faint on the day of battle, it helps us to increase in strength and in faith.

* Prayer helps our infirmities such that the cares of this world will not have the capacity to weigh down our hearts.

* Prayer connects us to our own Father, whom we can ask for anything we need, and we can also know what his will is for us.

* Prayer changes or molds us; It helps us to conform to the new nature that is in Christ Jesus;
We become better people, kinder, wiser, gentle, humble and all the attributes of the fruits of the Spirit.

* Prayer helps us to overcome sin and temptations; We are able to shun away from evil and flee sexual immorality.

* Prayer brings us much closer to our Heavenly Father such that we will be able to see what is to come, and we will be very much prepared for it. So nothing gets us by surprise, for it has already been revealed to us.

* Prayer strengthens our bond with the Spirit of God such that it will be near to impossible for us to make mistakes; In this we are guided to make sound judgments, informed decisions and avoid mistakes.

* Prayer helps us to bear more fruits and remain in Jesus Christ our Lord; We become more productive, more fruitful and we bring glory back to our Heavenly Father.

These are just a few points that can help you to make prayer more intentional and you will grow beyond measure, beyond your companions, setting you apart from your peers because of the favor of God, skill and excellence in all you do, for the Lord blesses those who are his.

May the Lord bless you and increase you in knowledge, wisdom and stature in Jesus' mighty name.

Why you lack faith!

What is faith? It is the things which are hoped for, the evidence of the unseen.

So why do we have many faithless people in the world today?

1. Sight * what is sight, we live by the things which we see, so people do not have hope in the Lord , neither do they believe in God, so they make up things which they can see including graven images to worship!

2.The cares of this world* what are these cares? These are the things which pleases the eyes and the flesh. These things causes a man's heart to shift from the Lord to the world.

3. Prayerlessness* A person who does not pray, cannot overcome temptations meaning he or she shall be entangled by sin causing him to go far away from the Lord.

4. Stormy situations and hardships* what are these situations, an occurrence happened one day while Jesus Christ was walking on water and Peter asked the Lord whether he should join him and indeed he joined him but when a storm came he began to doubt and he sank but Jesus held him by his hand and told him he has little faith!

Which situation in life has caused you to be faithless? Don't you know that even in the storms the Lord is still with you?

David said in Psalms 23:4
"Even if I go through the deepest darkness, I will not be afraid, Lord, for you are with me. Your shepherd's rod and staff protect me."

These situations are meant to strengthen us in faith, that no matter how grevious the hardships are they are meant to discipline us and not cause us to be stronger in faith.

Don't you know that in a school setup all the students do exams? And in real life everyone must be tested! It is up to you to make up your mind to pass the tests which are brought your way! Otherwise reaching the promised land may take you Years and years!

Remember the Israelites, the Lord intentionally made them go through the wilderness that he may teach them how to fight!

Don't you know the higher you rise the more intense your battles become? now if you don't know how to fight, how will it be for you? You shall loose everything God has given you and not be able to manage what is given to your hands!

Hebrews 11:6
[6]No one can please God without faith, for whoever comes to God must have faith that God exists and rewards those who seek him.

Without faith it is impossible to please God, therefore make up your mind and choose the way given to us by God to get to him and that is through Christ Jesus our Lord.

Be prayerful that you may walk in the path God ordained for you before the foundations of the earth were laid. "When evening came Jesus went to a solitary place to pray and all day all he did exploits and excelled in them all."

Be encouraged and be filled with courage and strength to do exploits as well in all excellency!

The peace of God.

(Isaiah 53:5, philippians 4:6-7, John 14:27)
What is the peace of God? Do you know that it was paid for us to have that peace, the peace that the world seeks for but never finds?

Why is it hidden that the world is in chaos and battle never finding the peace that has been given to us freely?
This is the reason, it has been given to the unlearned, the weak, the foolish and the despised things of this world in order to shame them that in the world system are considered wise and learned.

Why did God choose to do that? because the world in all its wisdom failed to recognize him. Therefore he made them fools by taking the unlearned and made them wiser and knowledgeable in all forms and revealed to them his kingdom, giving them peace that surpasses human understanding.

Let's read from Isaiah 53:5
[5]But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

Now the peace of God shields our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
The Bible says in Philippians 4:6 that we should not be anxious for anything, that in everything, by prayer, and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God!

We are to live a life full of peace, and not troubled with anxiety about what we should eat, drink or wear knowing and having that understanding by faith that the Lord is able to supply our needs according to his riches in glory. That the eyes of the Lord are upon the face of the earth and he gives strength to them that are loyal to him! (2 chronicles 16:9)

His peace guards or shields our minds from the cares of this world. " For the heathens seek for these things as a sign they have no other hope!" but we have hope in God through Christ our Lord, that when we pray, and make our requests known unto him, he gives unto us the things we need because we have made the most high our shield and support.

The world seeks for peace but never finds it, because it is not attainable by any means in this world but given by God through faith in Christ Jesus!

Is your heart troubled and your mind filled with all sorts of corruption? Come to Jesus Christ, for he gives it freely to anyone who comes to him believing that he came to the world, to rescue us from the pits of corruption and give us peace.

He says, "Come to me those who are weary and heavy laden and I shall give rest unto your souls!"
Yes, your soul is more important than anything in the world. That's why Jesus, though God, came in the form of a sinful human flesh to redeem us in the flesh from oppression and bo***ge to set us free, hallelujah!

Come to Jesus and he will guard your minds and hearts from anguish that is upon all men that are disobedient to God.
John 14:27
[27]Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

The moment the peace of God departs, that man is left with no walls of protection over him therefore,he starts living a life full of bitterness,anger and strife and never settling!( example is the life of Saul the king after the Spirit of God departed from him)

"Seek first the kingdom! "

I posted this verse the other day and as I was pondering on it, meditating on it, the Lord revealed something to me about this secret!

Spiritual things can only be spiritually discerned!
Jesus said, we should not be troubled and worried like the heathens are worried and troubled, for the Lord is willing to reveal to us his kingdom and how we ought to be living.

This is what Jesus instructed us to do, "But seek first the kingdom of God and all its righteousness and then these other things shall be added unto you!" What are "these things" all that men desire, riches and wealth, honor, blessings, power, glory and wisdom!

What does seeking the kingdom mean? To seek the kingdom of God is to seek to know the thoughts of God concerning you, to understand and know his ways so that you are right with Him in all spheres of your life, in speech, in conduct and in character, even association.

By doing so, you get to know the mind of God and his will for your life, then all these other things are given unto you as necessities because the Father knows that you need them to fulfill his will and purpose, and for the joy of your heart to be complete in him.

"If you remain in me and my words remain in you, then you can ask anything you wish in. Y name and it shall be given unto you!"(John 15:5-7)
So you are given permission to ask anything and it is given unto you.

The ways of God are not our ways, for the ways of God gives us peace and life.
Now when you exercise or put to practice these things then it will be of benefit to you and to Now and in the age to come, you will receive a crown of righteousness. "For spiritual exercise is of more benefit than physical exercise!

Elemental forces of this world.
(Galatians 4:3)

What are the elemental forces of this world? Do you know that human beings are subject to spiritual powers?

If a man is born again, is therefore born of God, not born out of any natural descent, or husband's will, or any human decision.
Every man born under the sun, is controlled by a Spirit, be it of God or cosmic powers, or ruling spirits of the universe.

This is why as a Christian spiritual maturity is important otherwise, these spirits will continue ruling over us for lack of knowledge. Which knowledge? Spiritual truths coming from the throne room of the Father through the Holy Spirit.

Jesus cried and said, " how long must I be with you? Have faith!"
What keeps us from growing and becoming mature in faith is because of a lack of faith, we begin with the Spirit only to end up in the flesh. "Oh you foolish Galatians, who have bewitched you! " Did you receive the gift of God by works or by faith!
Faith is a key factor that cause many to draw back to the works and abandon faith

Elemental spiritual powers are still at work in them that disobey God or those who do not believe in Him. For this is the power that controls how you think and become.

How do we ensure that we are growing in faith!
1. Becoming one in faith and in the knowledge of Christ Jesus. That's oneness (Ephesians4:13)
2. By loving one another.
3. Being patient, gentle and humble.(Ephesians 4:2)
4. Keeping the word of the Lord always on our lips, meditating on his word day and night (Joshua 1:8)
5. Seeking to please God by having faith and seeking his face diligently (Hebrews 11:6)
6. Remaining united to the vine, Christ Jesus our Lord. (John 15:5)
7. By keeping watch and praying. For the Lord renews the strength of them that put their hope in him. (Isaiah 40:30-31)
8. Imitating the Faith of them that have already gone ahead of us and succeeded. Our teachers in the Lord like Paul. "Follow me as I follow Christ" said Paul.

Elemental forces of this world are still at work in them that have not matured in faith, therefore make every effort to draw near to the Lord and he shall reveal to you the whole truth, which shall set you free.

Hear what David said, "Psalms 90:1 (KJV) Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations."

Let the Lord be your dwelling place and you shall walk in power, liberty and in dominion to rule over the elemental forces of this world. For he will grant you wisdom such that, your generation will be left wondering! An excellent Spirit that even the magicians and all witches refers to you as a man who knows the secrets of God like Daniel.

The broken hearted.

Who are the broken-hearted? A broken hearted person is the one whose heart is grieved by a certain evil deed done to them. Their pain and sorrows arise to God and even recorded.

The book psalms 34:18 says, " The Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in Spirit!"
The Lord is near them that are broken, he saves them whose spirit is crushed.

Today as I woke up, the Lord told me about the broken hearted and he said they are many, the youths, the elderly and even our Fathers and mothers and he said I should Minister and remind them of what Christ Jesus came to do!

He came anointed to set the captives free, to heal the broken hearted, to deliver the oppressed.

One of the agenda or mission of Christ Jesus our Lord was to heal the broken hearted. That's how important God made mankind.
"Who is the man that you care for? " exclaimed the psalmist.

He says he shall heal your broken heart and save those who are crushed in Spirit.
Especially in this times we are living in, where inflation has risen to a point of shaking the wealthy and the rich, many people are broken, crushed in Spirit, it seems as if all. Their efforts amount to nothing!"

But here is our Hope that the Lord is near them that are broken and saves them that are crushed in Spirit, the righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all! "

I know fear and created a way to get into your hearts, but do not allow it, for we have victory over everything here on earth even death where is its sting?
Do not fear the days ahead, for the Lord is with you, he shall hold you by his right hand and no harm shall come near your door.

Hold fast to his promise, for he does not forsake the righteous, he walks with them and guides them, showing them the way they should go.

He says, a person who puts hope in him, he shall renew his strength, when he runs he has not be weary nor even faint" he shall be like a tree that is planted by the rivers of waters, whose leaves shall not wither, and shall spread its roots by the streams of waters. He shall not feel the heat when it comes and shall prosper in everything they do!

You are loved by the Lord and he wants you to hold fast to his promises this year. Come close to him and he shall come close to you, he shall give you instructions on the way to follow and guide your feet to the right direction then you shall know that he is the Lord your God, your saviour and redeemer.

Though hardships come, though sickness comes, though these things come, your hope is in the Lord and he shall deliver you from them all. This here is a promise that is true, the word of God which is life to them that are being saved! "The Lord shall deliver you from all troubles!"

May the Lord bless you and heal your broken heart, may his joy be your strength, may he guide your feet in the way to go and establish his perfect will in your life.

An earnest prayer of a person in deep anguish!

Who is this person? He is a person who maybe has been through a lot, maybe they have not reached that place of accomplishment like others and so such a person goes through ridicule and pain that no man can heal.

They are not satisfied until God removes that pain from them completely, and grants them their hearts desires.

Such a case arose in the Old Testament when two women married to one man, called Elkanah, brought nothing but pain and ridicule to the one who was barren and could not sire children.

An occasion arose where the Bible illustrated to us, the state of the heart of Hannah, 1 Samuel 1:10
"In her deep anguish Hannah prayed to the Lord, weeping bitterly."

The state of unfulfillment was upon her shoulders because the Lord had shut up her womb* 1 Samuel 1:5*

Why did she have to go through such pain and anguish and ridicule? It's because God knew he would be glorified through the seed of this woman.
The seed will become a prophet and such one who has God's mind and interest at heart.
Meaning the seed will become great in the Land and the Lord will be glorified through him!

That's why it is written, "all things work out for good to those who love the Lord and are called according to his purpose and will."

Anyone who fears God and walks in reference to him, has God's blessing in him. "If anyone is born again is one with the Lord!" Therefore God's plan is in his life and will be brought to pass in the fullness of time.

It may look like you have been forgotten, left to cry and in misery but know that it's only for a night, " For sorrow may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning!" the Lord knew you even before you were formed in your mother's womb, he knew what you will have to go through in order to emerge forward as pure gold.

From the chapter you could see that Hannah was a woman who revered the Lord and delighted in his statutes and instructions. There was no time she took advantage of the husbands affection and love to repay back to Peninah her Co-wife. In all things she went to the Lord in prayer and surely when she prayed at the temple, the priest told her to go in peace, and the Lord to grant her heart's desire!"

She went ahead and ate and arose the next day and worshiped the Lord, and when she went home indeed the God of Israel remembered her and she became pregnant in the course of time. Trust in the Lord and do not stagger in faith.

The God of Israel will remember you too, he will give you joy like a river and even give you more than what you asked for. It does not matter how many years it took you, but when the Lord's blessings come, it will silence all your mockers and indeed they will testify too of God's faithfulness in your life.

Take it to the Lord in prayer and he shall answer your prayer and give you rest and peace that you have yearned for, for years.

The Lord shall grant your heart's desire and your joy shall become full, and so you will praise his Holy name and rejoice because of his mercies and love.

I do not know where you are at, maybe there is something troubling you, and making you feel uneasy but here is God's assurance, that he will do it when you ask him, "Ask and it shall be given unto you"
Yes, the Lord shall make you laugh and smile, and give you even more that you will not need anything.

May you testify of his goodness and faithfulness.

BIBLICAL MYSTERIES HIDDEN IN CHRIST JESUS.

Biblical mysteries hidden in Christ Jesus concerning life. These Spiritual truths are revealed to babes in order to shame the wise that was the plan of our Heavenly Father and it was pleasing to him.

Why are they not revealed to everyone? Let's see what the scripture says about it:
1 Corinthians 1:26-28
[26]Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth.
[27]But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
[28]God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are,
[29]so that no one may boast before him.

The scripture has fully elaborated as to why God chose the weak things, lowly things and the foolish things, is to shame the wise and their wisdom because they have failed to recognise God, so God made their wisdom foolish!

Now Christ is the wisdom of God. Mysteries and ancient secrets are only found in him, hidden from the world but revealed to those that are in him and have believed in him.

So whenever they hear the true prophets of God teaching the word of God, they do not perceive it, see it nor understand it.
Because they have not Believed in the testimony of God concerning Jesus? But it is easier for them to receive human testimony, because their hearts have been darkened and understanding also.

So this is what the Lord says, "they will be ever hearing but never coming to an understanding, ever seeing and never perceiving!" (Matthew 13:13-15)

These ancient truths, spiritual secrets are revealed to those who believe, not to unbelievers!
Because unbelievers value human wisdom and praise more than God's wisdom and praise, so their hearts remain dark and their eyes cursed for not seeing, they go about their day stumbling and falling and in the end perish in their own foolishness.

What you were created to do is hidden in Christ Jesus, the purposes of God concerning your life.
So, this is how Jesus reveals to us how to find our lives.
"whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it!"

That's how you realize the purpose of God concerning your life by dying to self and all its desires, then carry your own cross and follow him!
Jesus will reveal to you the hidden secrets of the kingdom of God.

Here there is a price to pay and here you pay it with your own life. That's why you see not many are willing to accept to lose their own lives.
That's why the way to the Father is through a narrow gate, because not many will make it, for many seek to fulfill their own desires and not God's desire for their destinies.

When Jesus came upon the earth he had his own life and will but for the sake of God's purpose to save us, he laid down his life and his will, so that the eternal purpose of God be fulfilled in his life.
Here is a true testimony of Christ our Lord and the reason why the Father loves him.
John 10:17-18
[17]The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again.
[18]No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”

Anyone who lays his life down for Christ sake he will find it, that's a guarantee..
And mysteries of the Kingdom are entrusted to him. Such a man becomes great in the land while the wise watches and the learned are put to shame, bringing glory to our Heavenly Father. Because the foolish things, the despised things and the weak things Now walk in the excellency of the Father, this too is a mystery!
