Behold that first weekend of September is here, our God is ready for you and I for a conversation. Prayer is that avenue that will keep you in step with the season planner who is God. Let no one interfere with your PRAYER LIFE.
Psalm 145:18 ("The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth") can transform your prayer life by shifting your focus from performing a religious ritual to experiencing a real, accessible relationship with God.
1. Reassures You of God’s Presence
Removes distance: You do not need to shout or try hard to get God’s attention; He is already close.
Brings comfort: Knowing He is near gives you immediate peace during lonely, painful, or confusing times.
Encourages persistence: You can pray with bold confidence because you know someone is actively listening on the other end.
2. Encourages Total Honesty ("In Truth")
Stops pretending: Calling on God "in truth" means dropping fake religious language, posturing, or hiding your flaws.
Welcomes raw emotions: You can bring your true, messy feelings—anger, doubt, sorrow, or joy—straight into His presence.
Builds authenticity: Prayer becomes an honest conversation rather than a memorized script or procedure.
3. Shifts Prayer from Getting to Knowing
Focuses on the Giver: Instead of treating God like a vending machine or a genie for wish fulfillment, prayer becomes about seeking God Himself.
Deepens intimacy: The goal of prayer shifts from just changing your circumstances to enjoying the closeness of His company
