Our word ot today 2.3.2023

Psalms 91:1-6
[1]He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
[2]I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”
[3]Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence.
[4]He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
[5]You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
[6]Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
- Prayer of protection.
- In times of fear, lost hope, sickness has striken us, hunger times, in dispair, let's this be our portion too in Jesus Mighty name amen.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.
- A times we face trials an fearful experiences threatening our lives, families, jobs and loved ones.
- The word is encouraging to anchor our trust in him.
- He will deliver us from them all.
🙏Dear Lord you've reminded me to put my trust in you in whichever situation. I anchor this morning in you Lord my shield and my rampant. In Jesus name Amen.

Romans 12:1-2

[1]I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
[2]And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

- The reasonable service before God is presenting our bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God. This is our calling in the ministry brethren.

🙏Dear Lord help me to give the acceptable worship before you in Jesus Mighty name Amen.

Ministering today on a Youth Sunday Service was Joshua Mumo on THE INNER ESSENCE OF WORSHIP.
SCRIPTURE: JOHN 4:1-26

TWO IMPORTANT DIMENSIONS OF WORSHIP.
1. Truth. In John 17:17 Jesus said sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. To worship God in truth is to Him according to the patterns of Hi word. God’s word is truth. By possessing Knowledge and right understanding of who God is, we enter into the dimension of true worship. John 4; 22 You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews

2. Spirit. God made us with three separate parts to our being that is Body, soul & spirit. We can best communicate to God on a spirit level since “God is Spirit”. Real and true worship begins from inside. It must be an inner desire and conviction that pushes you to express your love and deep respect to God.

Benefits of Serving God
1. Serving God comes with unlimited joy.
2. God pours out His grace to us to serve Him more and more.
3. We grow spiritually when serving God.
4. We glorify God through partnering with Him in service.
