Today, we celebrate the World Day of Prayer for Vocations 🙏✨
Here is the prayer we offer together as a Church:
Lord Jesus,
You who come to meet each person, whispering, “If you only knew the gift of God…”, Open our hearts to the beauty of your call. We entrust to you those who have already responded to your voice, especially priests, religious sisters, and religious brothers:Strengthen their faithfulness, renew their joy, and make them peaceful and radiant witnesses of your presence. May their lives, given in service, reveal to the world the tenderness of your love and the depth of the gift they have received.
We also pray for young people who are hesitating, those who are searching for their path but do not yet dare to take a step forward, those whom you call in secret and who have not yet recognized your word, May they discover, through prayer, the sacraments, and encounter, that your will is a source of freedom and that every vocation, in its own way, is a unique way to let your gift unfold.
Today, the World day of Vocation, Let us ask the Good shepherd to strengthen us in our call and inspire more young men and women to serve in the Church and in the society.
"Lord, make hearts grow in your Church that are open and attentive to your gentle breath.Grant each one the grace to know that they are loved, called, and sent according to your plan of love.
And may we all, in the diversity of the paths along which you lead us, bring to the world the joy of following you.
