Summary: The Kingdom of Grace
The Kingdom of Grace was first proclaimed by John the Baptist, who preached repentance to prepare the way for Yahshua the Messiah. This same message was later preached by Yahshua and His disciples, calling people to repentance and announcing that the Kingdom of Heaven was at hand. Entrance into this Kingdom is not gained through membership in an organization or outward religion, but through a personal, spiritual experience of being born again, which involves being born of water and of the Spirit.
When Yahshua explained this truth to Nicodemus, He showed that natural birth alone is insufficient; only a spiritual transformation worked by the Ruach haQodesh qualifies one for the Kingdom. Nicodemus’ confusion revealed how difficult this truth is for the natural mind to grasp—a struggle still common today. Many profess faith but have not fully yielded to the regenerating work of Yahweh.
To secure future citizenship in this Kingdom, believers are commanded to preach the Good News to all the world, calling people to faith and obedience. At the end of time, when Yahshua returns, the faithful—those who lived lives of love, service, and obedience—will be invited to inherit the Kingdom. In contrast, those who were lazy, selfish, and unresponsive to the needs of others will face separation and judgment.
Ultimately, there are two destinies: eternal life for those who experience the new birth and live out the principles of the Kingdom of Grace, and eternal punishment for those who reject that transforming grace. The new-birth experience is therefore the deciding factor for entrance into the Kingdom when our Master Yahshua comes again.
