Jericho was a fortified city with human maximum security. Inside what went on was against God's directives.
Israelites were instructed to destroy it in totality. Nothing was to be saved except silver, gold, brass, iron and Rahab's family. All others we detestable before the LORD.
We may look at things from our perspective and see good in them but in God's perspective are rotten.
Jericho was rotten and nobody was allowed to rebuild it.
When we surround Jericho with praises we destroy every evil thing save what is consecrated for the Lord.
In that family every evil plan will be destroyed by praising.
Take time to praise.
