Today’s youth service was a beautiful reminder of the power of words and the impact they carry in our lives. Our discussion on “Words That Bring Affirmation” challenged each one of us to reflect deeply on the things we have heard, spoken, and carried within our hearts over the years.

We took time to think about questions that touched us personally:
What is one thing you wish you had been told while you were younger?
What is one thing you have always told yourself?
What is one thing you were told that has always affected you?

The conversations were honest, emotional, encouraging, and uplifting. We were reminded that words can heal, build confidence, restore hope, strengthen faith, and shape destinies. At the same time, we learned how important it is to speak life into one another because sometimes a single encouraging word can change someone’s entire perspective.

As young people, we are called not only to receive affirmation but also to become vessels of affirmation to others through kindness, encouragement, love, and truth. Today reminded us that God’s words about us matter most, and through Him we are chosen, valued, loved, and capable.

Thank you to everyone who came, participated, shared openly, and made today’s fellowship meaningful. May we continue to use our words to uplift, inspire, and strengthen one another every day.
