TOPIC: ✨ YOU’RE GOD'S HOPE FOR THE WORLD ✨

Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God (Hebrews 10:7).

Sometimes, we try to get God to do something about the world, about the plight of suffering humanity, not realizing we’re actually His hope for the world. We’re His outstretched arm of blessing to the world. He blessed us, and made us the conveyors of His blessings to our world.

His Word says He made all things beautiful; He created humanity to live in peace, joy, safety, prosperity and abundance. He wants us to keep things that way. We’re supposed to look at the things happening in the nations that aren’t consistent with the will of God and effect changes. We’re the ones to prove His good, acceptable, and perfect will in the earth (Romans 12:2).

It brings to mind the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:18: “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Understand what this means: we give vent to the glory of God in the earth. We give vent to His will. We allow the good things of God to come into this world.

We’re the ones to scrutinize everything in the world and decide which is acceptable or is in the perfect will of God, and then bring that into this earth. It's our calling. No wonder the Bible says, “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God… the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bo***ge of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God” (Romans 8:19-21).

We’re the hope of the world to bring joy, righteousness, peace and prosperity. We’re the ones to deliver the world from the bo***ge of corruption into the glorious liberty of the sons of God, and we’re at it. Hallelujah!

You spend time worrying about where you are and how far it is from where you are going that you forget how far you've come from where you used to be.

Never forget everything you've gone through, the pain you've endured, the struggles you've survived, the obstacles you've scaled, the mountains you've climbed that have brought you to where you are.

Remember the times you've pushed yourself when you don't feel like, and done things despite how hard it was, remember all these have built you into the person you are today.

You are where you are today because of all that happened yesterday, and where you will be tomorrow will be a product of what you are doing today.

Let go of regrets and worries that might spring up today, don't let the burdens and fears of the present weigh you down. All that has happened previously didn't kill you, instead it made you stronger, all that is happening now won't end you, it will make you better.

Every phase in life matters, and the phase you are in is needed for the next. Face every fear with courage, every obstacle with strength, face every hurt with a smile and every failure with the hope that the best is yet to come .

Rather than bother about where you are, be grateful for how far you've come and be hopeful of how far you will go.

Greet today with a smile, for this is not how your story will end.

Title: UNDERSTANDING THE THINGS OF THE SPIRIT

Romans 8:5

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

There are certain things which are Identified in the School of the Spirit as the Things of the Spirit which anyone who desires to live the Spirit Life, walk the Spirit Walk, Be Led by the Spirit and Be moved By the Spirit must be mindful of. You must understand that just as there are the Things of the Flesh, there are also the Things of the Spirit and you can't claim to be living in the Spirit and not be mindful of the things of the Spirit.

The reward you get when you are mindful of the Things of the Spirit is Life and Peace. You must understand that just as when you are mindful of the things of the flesh you are rewarded with Death and Restlessness so also you get rewarded with Life and Peace when you are mindful of the things of the Spirit. There is nothing of the flesh that gives life because to be carnally minded is Death but to be spiritually minded is life and Peace (Romans 8:6; John 6:63)

What are the Things of the Spirit that A Person who desires to live the Spirit Life must be mindful of?Let us see a few of them from the word of God in;

Philippines 4:8

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

(i). The Things of the Spirit are True because the Spirit of God is the Spirit of Truth

John 14:17

Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
