*Proverbs 31:30 NIV* Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

*REFLECT* There is a saying that says, Behind every successful man there is a godly woman. A godly woman is full of good deeds. She always works diligently with her hands and shows grace and kindness to all who cross her path. She displays strength and dignity. She is a God fearing mother who brings up her children in the ways of God, a wife who encourages her husband to succeed in life. She is a sister, an aunt, a daughter or a friend. Above all, she is God-fearing.

*CHALLENGE* A virtuous woman is a rare breed. She is charming and beautiful, but above all, she fears the LORD and that is what makes her so unique. Today, just take a moment to thank God for all the virtuous women in your life, including yourself if you are one.

*PRAY* Heavenly Father, we thank you for all the virtuous women in our lives. Mothers, Auntys, Sisters, Wives, Daughters and Friends. We thank you for the beautiful attributes that shine through their lives. We pray that our lives will reflect real beauty and kindness. Make us good examples to the society and mould us into the people you would want us to be. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. *AMEN*

*Hebrews 12:1 NIV* Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,

*REFLECT* Sometimes we feel that we are the only ones facing challenges in life. But we can reflect on the great men and women of faith who trusted in God despite their suffering. Their lives are a witness to us to persevere in faith. We can follow their good examples and lay aside everything that can hinder our faith in God.

*CHALLENGE* Pursue righteousness at all cost. Yes there are challenges in life, but remember, others have passed through tougher times. Your struggles should draw you closer to God and not away from Him. So press on, you shall overcome.

*PRAY* Loving Father, we thank you for the many people of faith in our lives who bear witness that your Word is trustworthy and true. In the trials and difficulties of our lives, help us to keep trusting in you as we bear witness of your love and kindness. Help us to discard everything that can hinder our trust in you. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. *AMEN*

*Psalms 143:8 NIV* Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.

*REFLECT* David learned many things about God in his life-time. No matter how dark the night of sorrow or how big the problems he had to face, God was always on his side. God shelters those He loves from the storms of life. He loves us with an everlasting love and is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Trusting in Him will give guidance to the lost soul and bring hope in the midst of difficult situations.

*CHALLENGE* In our difficult moments, we should trust in God and cry out to Him to show us the way, for His mercies are new every morning.

*PRAY* Heavenly Father we pray that we may know you and understand your will for our lives. Help us to walk in the ways that you have planned for us and let each day bring your unfailing love to those who trust in you. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. *AMEN*

we give thanks to almighty for enabling us commit ourselves today and pray for our Church , muthiria Parish .glory back to Him..and my prayer is that this won't be the end but we will continue interceding for the growth of the church from now on .

Let us pray in unity .

Heavenly father ,receive our praises today .
thy kingdom come ..we surrender to thee Lord .

forgive us as the body of Christ ,for sinning agnaist u .cleanse us as muthiria Parish ...and draw us nearer to u Lord .

we are grateful for this far u have brought us ,the mountains u have moved for us ,we have seen u fighting for us and gracing us with ur spirit each day .

thank you for the Rev ,Abraham Njogu ,continue gracing him with strength to serve us as a parish ,may He be a vessel of healing to us all ,for honour and glory of your name .
Thank you For Ev.Mugambi ...continue equipping him and strengthening him in your work Lord ..we surrender the church elders in the three churches ,muthiria ,kiyu and kiaguthu ...we ask that u may help them walk in the fear of u ..and do that which is of u Lord .
be with the us all ,as christians ,that we will be teachable and be ready to serve u only living God .the children ,the youths and the parents ..be with us all and cover us with your spirit .
Revive muthiria for yourself Lord .

Thank you for the 100 years church celebration you have given us an opportunity to witness ..Lord we pray that the plans we have for 11th april 2021 will come to be a success ,and glory be back to your name father .
be with our Bishop ,all clergy who will be present ,all the guests ,the committee ,the church elders and all christians .
cover us and bless us for that day ,that we will be vessels sanctified for Thy noble purpose Lord .
we surrender everything to u,protect us from covid ,and any thing that may disrupt the occasion . ...be Lord over it all Jesus .

*Ephesians 6:12 NIV* For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

*REFLECT* As believers, we are engaged in spiritual warfare against the rulers of darkness. The enemy uses those close to us who are not spiritually alert to execute his evil plans. The only way to defeat him is by being spiritually alert through the Word of God and continuous prayer. Christ's victory at Calvary is ours by faith. He triumphed over evil through His death, burial and resurrection. Through Him we can wrestle against the evil forces in the world today and be victorious.

*PRAY* Heavenly Father, we thank you because Jesus conquered sin and the spirit of disobedience. Help us to recognize that we can only defeat the enemy that war against us through Christ. Thank you for providing us with the means to live victorious lives through your Word, prayer and praises. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. *AMEN*

What makes your soul tick
What are the little things that make you happy?
Is it some alone time or sometime with your favourite person🤭🙈
Is it a walk in nature or a day out with your boys/girls just talking about stuff?
May be it's playing that guitar 🎸, watching that animation you've for a hundred times😄, cooking up something....

This might look like it's coming out of nowhere, but over the past few months I have learnt (the hard way) just how important it is to ensure that I am sparing some time in the midst of life's chaos to slow down and check up on myself
I hope you create some space over this weekend to just breathe.... Even just for an hour..
I was reminded this week about the story of the woodcutter who had realized that with the passing day, he was bringing less and less wood home yet he was putting in the same amount of time and energy everyday....he then realized that it had been a while since he sharpened his axe!!!

And on that note, I wish y'all a sharp weekend😄😄

*James 1:5 NIV* If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

*REFLECT* Our lives are full of ups and downs. When we make wrong choices and feel we need to restrategize, we are to ask God for wisdom and guidance. Mistakes are part of life but we should be willing to admit our faults and be ready to learn from them. God delights to give us wisdom in abundance, but we must be prepared to ask Him, to listen to His voice and to obey His Word.

*PRAY* Loving Father, you know the pressures of life pressing down on us. We pray that you will help us to hold fast to your Word and wait upon you. Give us the wisdom we need to face our circumstances with joy, knowing that our lives are in your loving hands. Help us to grow in grace and in wisdom as we rest in your everlasting love. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. *AMEN*
