Today, our church family was blessed to celebrate Child Dedication and Personal Ministries Sabbath—a beautiful reminder of our shared calling to nurture the next generation and proclaim the everlasting gospel.
Child dedication is a sacred commitment in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. It is a time when parents publicly dedicate their children to God, pledging to raise them according to His Word, while the church commits to supporting and praying for the family. As Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me" (Mark 10:14), we are reminded that every child is precious in His sight and has a special purpose in His kingdom.
Personal Ministries Sabbath also calls us to reflect on our responsibility as disciples of Christ. Every member is called to share God's love through acts of kindness, Bible study, community outreach, and personal witnessing. The mission of the church is not reserved for a few it is the privilege and responsibility of every believer to be a light in the world and lead others to Jesus.
As we dedicate our children to the Lord and recommit ourselves to His mission, may we continue building Christ-centered families and a church that faithfully serves its community. Together, let us raise a generation that loves God and actively shares the hope found in Jesus Christ.
