Jacob was promised by Laban that after working for 7 years he would receive Rachel as his bride but after the wedding night he realized he was conned and instead of Rachel he was given Leah.

Before you receive your desire, sometimes you are given a disappointment. Before you receive what you want, life may first give you what you don't want. What do you do when life gives you a Leah instead of a Rachel?

What do you do when men break their promises? What do you do when people you trusted betray you and break your heart? What do you do when you expected a big yes but life gives you a cold No?

Jacob never gave up, he never complained, he did not become bitter but he said, "I accept the situation but I will still pursue my Rachel, I will go after what I wanted at first" That is the attitude of a winner. Make a decision not to give in to the disappointments but pursue the desires of your life. Follow your vision. Put the Leah behind you and go after the Rachel!

Be blessed as you go after your Rachel .Never give up on your dreams whatever it takes.

God Bless you

Colours in relation with the Anglican Church liturgy.

Green is the liturgical colour for the Season after Pentecost (Ordinary Time or Trinity Season). It symbolizes:

Spiritual growth

Hope

New life in Christ

The ongoing mission and discipleship of the Church

White symbolizes:

Purity

Holiness

Joy

The resurrection of Christ

White cassocks are commonly worn by Anglican choir members and servers throughout the year, with coloured frontals or scarves added according to the liturgical season.

Purple (or violet) in Anglican tradition is normally associated with:

Repentance

Preparation

The seasons of Advent and Lent

However, on choir robes, the purple trim may simply be part of the choir's official uniform or diocesan/parish design rather than indicating the liturgical season.

Seedtime and Harvest
While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. *Genesis 8:22*
Is it not wonderful to hear this? Of course it is, there are things that remain on earth. Seedtime and harvest are two events that are in our power to readily control. If you ignore seedtime, don't expect a harvest; they go together. Our day to day activities comprise doing something that will bring us a harvest or doing nothing to reap no harvest. The other elements such as cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night exist to enhance our seedtime and harvest. Dear reader, are you doing something useful that will give you a good harvest?
Hebrews 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
All things were created by God. Without Him, nothing would come into being. Jesus was the express image of God, a direct representation of God. He is the light of the world, and this verse is designed to show just how brightly he shined. Through the brightness of His glory and with the power of His words, Jesus forgave all of our sins. This radiance and word has lasted for thousands of years, and has given all of us a chance to rejoice with Him and God in Heaven.

Prayer

Father in Heaven, hallowed be thy name. I give thanks for Your son, Jesus Christ, whose brightness still lights up the earth. Give me the wisdom to listen, learn, and act according to Your holy word, O Lord, and the patience to keep faith when darkness enters my heart. I long for the day I shall join the light of my world in heaven. Amen.

πŸŒ™ GOOD NIGHT, BELOVED IN CHRIST ✨

As this day comes to an end, may the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ fill your hearts and homes. Whatever burdens you carried today, lay them before God, for He is watching over you and will never leave nor forsake you.

"In peace I will lie down and sleep, for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety." β€” Psalm 4:8

May the Lord grant you restful sleep, renew your strength, and prepare you for a blessed tomorrow. Remember that His mercies are new every morning, and His faithfulness never fails.

"The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you." β€” Numbers 6:24–25

Sleep well, stay safe, and wake up ready to glorify God in all you do.
