*SUNDAY ENCORAGEMENT* .
# **Giving with Joy: Investing in God's House**

*"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."* — **2 Corinthians 9:7**

As we prepare to give toward the purchase of a church keyboard, _*let us remember that we are not simply buying a musical instrument—we are investing in the worship of God and the ministry of His Church.*_ Every gift, whether large or small, becomes part of a greater testimony that will bless generations to come.

Throughout Scripture, God's people willingly gave to support His work. When the Israelites built the Tabernacle, they brought their offerings so generously that Moses had to ask them to stop because there was more than enough (Exodus 36:5–7). Their giving was an expression of gratitude, faith, and love for God.

The keyboard we seek to purchase will be used to lead hearts into God's presence, encourage the congregation in worship, support the choir, inspire the youth, and glorify the name of Jesus. It is more than an instrument—it is a tool for ministry.

As you prepare your offering, remember these truths:

* **Give with gratitude**, remembering that everything we have comes from God (1 Chronicles 29:14).
* **Give by faith**, believing that God is able to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
* **Give with joy**, knowing that your sacrifice will help advance the Kingdom of God (Acts 20:35).

No gift is insignificant in the hands of God. Jesus praised the widow who gave only two small coins because she gave from her heart (Mark 12:41–44). _*God measures our giving not by its amount, but by the love, faith, and sacrifice behind it.*_

May this be a moment of unity as we join hands to accomplish God's work together. Let us give generously, cheerfully, and expectantly, trusting that the Lord who sees every act of obedience will bless both the giver and His Church.

**Prayer**
*Heavenly Father, thank You for the privilege of partnering in Your work. As we prepare to give toward the purchase of a church keyboard, fill our hearts with generosity, joy, and faith. Bless every giver according to Your perfect will, and may this instrument be used to glorify Your name, lead many into heartfelt worship, and draw souls closer to Christ. Unite us as one family, and let this offering become a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.*

Good morning Church. Thank you for choosing to worship with us today.

Happy blessed MOTHERS DAY.
Today we honor and celebrate the women in the house of God — mothers, grandmothers, daughters, sisters, spiritual mothers, mentors, and every woman who serves faithfully in the Kingdom. Your value is not only in what you do, but in who God created you to be.
1. You Are Chosen and Precious to God
God sees your sacrifices, your prayers, your tears, and your faithfulness even when others do not.
“She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.” — Proverbs 31:25
You are not weak because you carry burdens. You are strong because God strengthens you daily. Heaven recognizes the silent battles you fight and the love you pour out into others.
2. Your Labor in the Lord Is Never Wasted
Many women serve tirelessly — praying for families, supporting ministries, encouraging others, and standing in faith during difficult seasons. God honors every act of love and obedience.
“God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people.” — Hebrews 6:10
Even when you feel unnoticed, God remembers every seed you have planted.
3. You Carry Great Spiritual Influence
Women in Scripture changed generations through faith, courage, and obedience. Esther saved a nation. Deborah led with wisdom. Mary surrendered to God’s purpose. Hannah prayed until her miracle came.
“For such a time as this.” — Esther 4:14
God is still raising women who will influence homes, churches, communities, and nations for His glory.

To every woman in the church: keep praying, keep believing, keep serving, and keep walking with God. Your faith is making a difference even when you cannot yet see the full harvest.

May God bless every woman with strength for today, peace for every storm, joy in every season, and grace to fulfill His divine purpose.

There are moments in life when the noise becomes overwhelming—voices of fear, pressure, confusion, and urgency all demanding our attention at once. We feel the need to respond, to explain, to act, to fix. Silence, in such moments, feels unnatural… even uncomfortable. Yet it is often in those very moments that God is closest.

Scripture challenges our instincts. In Psalm 46:10, we are commanded, “Be still, and know that I am God.” Not strive. Not panic. Not argue. Be still. Why? Because stillness reveals something noise cannot—the nearness of God.

When God draws near, He does not compete with chaos—He invites us out of it. His presence calls for reverence, attentiveness, and trust. Just as Habakkuk 2:20 declares, “The Lord is in His holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before Him.” Silence, then, is not weakness—it is worship. It is the posture of a heart that recognizes, “God is here.”

Today, we are not just learning to be quiet—we are learning to be aware. To pause. To trust. To listen. Because when we remain silent, we begin to experience a powerful truth: we are not alone—God is near.

Beloved, today we gather in solemn reflection on Good Friday—a day marked by suffering, sacrifice, and sacred love. It is a day that compels us to slow down and behold the most profound mystery of our faith: that life came through death, victory through apparent defeat, and glory through humiliation.

The cross was not just an event—it was a journey. A path walked step by step by our Savior, a road paved with pain, rejection, and unimaginable burden. Yet it is along this very road—the way of the cross—that redemption was secured for all humanity.

There is a story of a young boy who once watched a craftsman restoring a broken violin. The instrument was scratched, worn, and nearly discarded. Many thought it had no value.

But the craftsman carefully picked it up, cleaned it, repaired it, and began to play. As the music filled the room, it was beautiful—far more beautiful than anyone expected.

The value of the violin was not in its condition, but in the hands of the one who held it.

On Good Friday, the world looked at Jesus and saw a broken man hanging on a cross—wounded, rejected, and defeated. But God saw redemption. God saw restoration. God saw victory.

And just like that violin, our lives—though broken by sin—are placed in the hands of a loving Savior who restores, redeems, and gives us a new song.

In a world that glorifies comfort and avoids suffering, the cross stands as a contradiction. It calls us not just to admire Christ’s sacrifice, but to follow Him in it. Today, we do not simply remember the cross—we are invited to walk its way.
