HOPE FLOWS IN MINJILA
Today we witnessed the love of Christ in action as Nourish and Flourish together with the KAG EcoCycle Initiative served the people of Minjila in Tana River County through a Water Filters Distribution Mission.

For many families in Minjila, access to clean and safe drinking water remains a daily challenge. Many households rely on untreated water sources that can expose them to waterborne diseases. By providing water filters, we are helping families access safer drinking water, improve their health, and reduce the risk of preventable illnesses.

As part of the mission, the KAG EcoCycle Initiative also distributed reusable sanitary pads to women and girls, helping restore dignity, promote menstrual health, and provide a sustainable solution that enables girls and women to thrive with confidence

Most importantly, we celebrate what heaven celebrates. As we shared the Gospel, prayed with families, and ministered about Christ, the Living Water, many people made the life-changing decision to give their lives to Jesus, while others recommitted themselves to following Him. There is no greater joy than seeing lives transformed by the hope of the Gospel.

This mission was a beautiful reminder that true transformation is holistic. It meets physical needs, restores dignity, and points people to the One who satisfies every spiritual need that is Jesus Christ.

Sunday Sermon Highlights | ICC Mombasa ~ images from Lifegate Campus

“Debt gives today permission to spend tomorrow, but wisdom teaches us to live today in a way that leaves tomorrow freer.”

This Sunday, we were reminded that God’s desire is not simply for us to have more, but to steward what He has already entrusted to us with wisdom, discipline, and faith.

Through the story of the widow in 2 Kings 4, we learned that freedom begins when we choose obedience over impulse, discipline over desire, and faithful stewardship over the pursuit of appearances.

“Go, sell the oil and pay your debts. You and your sons can live on what is left.” - 2 Kings 4:7

May we be a people who live with wisdom today so that we can walk in greater freedom tomorrow.

“Money can be a very useful tool. Money can be a wonderful servant. But money is a terrible saviour.” ~ Edward Munene

When we expect money to give us peace, identity, success, or contentment, we’ll always be left wanting more because it was never created to carry that responsibility.

True contentment isn’t found in what we possess, but in the One we belong to.

Good Morning, ICC Mombasa Family! Happy Sunday

We are excited to continue with our Making Cents sermon series, Week 2: Full... But Empty.

Join us as we learn why money becomes a terrible master when we expect it to give us what only God can provide. Peace. Identity. Security. Contentment. Those are found in Christ alone and not in our bank accounts, possessions, or success.

As we reflect on Luke 12, we were challenged to ask ourselves:
1. Am I spending to meet a need—or to fill a void?
2. Is my lifestyle growing faster than my gratitude?
3. Am I rich in possessions but poor toward God?

God hasn't called us merely to earn more; He has called us to steward faithfully. When our hearts belong to Him, money returns to its rightful place: a tool for His purpose, not the source of our identity.

What if the way you handle your money is an act of worship?
Your wallet reveals more than your spending habits , it reflects who sits on the throne of your heart. Everything we have belongs to God, and every resource He places in our hands is an opportunity to honor Him through faithful stewardship.

Join us this sunday and every other sunday in the month of July for Making Cents: The Heart Behind the Money as we explore God's perspective on money, ownership, generosity, and living with open hands.

Because the question isn't, "How much do I have?" It's "Who does it belong to?

See you in church, Bring a friend, come expectant, and let's make cents God's way.

God is not looking for perfect people, He is looking for available hearts.

Isaiah's response was simple: "Here am I. Send me!" (Isaiah 6:8)

You don't have to have all the answers or feel fully qualified for God to use you. Sometimes, your greatest act of faith is simply saying "yes" to the opportunity right in front of you.

Today, ask yourself: Lord, where can I serve You today? One act of obedience, one encouraging word, or one step of faith can make an eternal difference.

May our response always be, Here I am. Send me.

Have you ever felt like life isn't going the way you expected? Joseph's story reminds us that God's presence is greater than our circumstances. Even in rejection, waiting, and hardship, God was with Joseph and He is with you too.

Today Bishop Charles Owour shared a powerful sermon titled Manifestation of an Unlimited Presence, from Genesis 39:1–5, encouraging us to trust God's process, remain faithful, and pursue His presence above everything else.

No matter what season you are in today, be encouraged: God is with you. His presence will sustain you, strengthen you, and lead you into His purpose.
