Mombasa Church of Christ - Airport Rd. We are a group of undenominational Christians that are striving to serve the Lord together. We strive for unity in the teaching of New Testament doctrine.

Mombasa Church of Christ is a family of believers in Christ located off the Airport Road - Mombasa

OUR MISSION : TO SAVE LOST SOULS AND SUSTAIN SAVED SOULS. Our goal is to please God, and we believe that the best way to do that is to follow the pattern that was established by the churches in the first century and revealed in the New Testament. We have no creed or doctrine except the Bible and

we follow the Bible only. Our congregation is not part of, or subject to, any larger man-made religious organization. We are a completely autonomous congregation. We are locally governed, just as the church in the first century was. We are a family of believers in Christ, trusting in God's Word & sharing the love of Christ in Mombasa. What a joy it is to begin this day! Solomon has obeyed the gospel message and was born again this morning. This comes after a lengthy, heartfelt discussion we had yesterday till dark , during which it became clear that his heart was ready to receive the Lord. Would you please pray for him—that he will walk closely with the brethren, remain teachable, grow in understanding, and mature in Christ day by day. May the Lord strengthen his new journey of faith.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

THERE IS ONLY ONE GOSPEL THAT CAN BRING PEACE! (Philippians 4:6,7) - Let's have our feet prepared for the preparation of the Gospel of Peace. Be ready to do the things that God would have us to do as New Testament Christians. Going out into the world and sharing His message so that the power of the darkness is not power at all, but it's dispelled by the light of the glorious gospel that we find that comes from Jesus Christ.

You want to be in God's kingdom? God’s Invitation is always prepared for any soul desiring the forgiveness of sins. Having heard the word, are you willing to believe it? Willing to repent of your sins and confess your faith in Christ? Confess that Jesus is a deity and be baptized in water to have your sins forgiven. Have them washed away by the blood of Jesus.

God's Word is Powerful - God's word is indeed powerful! Throughout the Bible, we see how God's words bring about creation, transformation, guidance, and redemption. Here are some aspects of the power of God's word:

Creation: In the book of Genesis, we read how God spoke the world into existence. With His words, He brought order out of chaos, demonstrating the incredible creative power of His speech.

Guidance: The Bible serves as a guide for humanity, providing wisdom, moral principles, and guidance for living a righteous and meaningful life. Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path," highlighting the illuminating and directing power of God's word.

Transformation: Hebrews 4:12 (NIV) states, "For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." God's word has the power to transform hearts, minds, and lives, bringing about repentance, healing, and renewal.

Comfort and Encouragement: During times of difficulty, God's word offers comfort and encouragement. Romans 15:4 (NIV) states, "For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide, we might have hope."

Authority: When Jesus was tempted by Satan in the wilderness, He responded with the word of God, saying, "It is written..." (Matthew 4:1-11). God's word carries ultimate authority, and it equips believers to stand firm against temptation and deception.

Faith: In the New Testament, we see that faith comes through hearing God's word (Romans 10:17). The message of the Gospel, the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ, is conveyed through God's word, leading to eternal life for those who believe.

Prayer and Communication: God's word serves as a foundation for prayer and communication with Him. When we pray according to His will, which we learn from His word, our prayers become powerful and effective (1 John 5:14-15).

These are just a few examples of the profound power and significance of God's word. It continues to impact lives, transform hearts, and bring hope to people all around the world. As believers, we are called to cherish and study God's word, allowing it to shape our thoughts, actions, and relationship with Him.
