DESTINY ENCOUNTER!

JEALOUSY, ENVY and HATRED are siblings born and raised by our human nature or the FLESH and so, we displayed it differently. By this image, it's not out of LACK but sometimes it's just for the fact that another person has- what a mean and cruel world we live in!

"So SAUL eyed DAVID from that day forward"-1Sam.18:9."

A whole King SAUL eyed a young guy DAVID who got nothing and sought to wipe him out for no reason than sheer JEALOUSY. Many of the endless disputes among the people are also often rooted in it as a result of INSECURITY and HIGH-MINDEDNESS. How do you feel about the SUCCESS of others- happy for them or otherwise? Notably, every DEROGATORY COMMENT about another person for what he/she genuinely has is a SYMPTOM of JEALOUSY... oh, how this had ruined many precious souls, fortunes and relationships! So, let's mind our HEART for a genuine LOVE neither ENVY nor think EVILS- 1Cor.13:4.

The truth? CONTENTMENT, selfless LOVE for others and TRUST in God's sovereignty are antidotes for JEALOUSY... meditate and follow these up, focus on your RACE!- 1Tim.6:6.

[15]"Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
[16]You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they?
[17]So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.
[18]A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit.

MOMENT OF GRACE & TRUTH.

TITLE: UNBELIEF BRINGS ITS OWN REWARD..

*"If the Lord would make windows in heaven, could this thing be."*
2nd Kings 7:2.

The siege of Samaria had produced such dire famine that mothers were even eating their own children. The King of Israel vowed vengeance on Elisha whom he blamed for the ravaging calamity. However he repented of his rashness [6:33] and Elisha foretold that within 24hrs there would be deliverance, with plenty of food at Low prices.

On hearing this incredible prophecy, a favoured courtier scoffed, and openly declared his incredulity[ expressed disbelief/doubt]. Though God is Long-suffering, He does not ignore the infedility of disbelief. Within 24 hrs the four lepers had revealed the flight of the Syrian army and the availability of enormous stocks of food. The king detailed the trusted courtier to keep peace and order at the city gate as the crowds flocked to collect food. 'And the people trode upon him, and He died.' GOD DID NOT NEED TO OPEN THE WINDOWS OF HEAVEN TO SUPPLY FOOD AS PER THE COURTIERS CONTEMPTUOUS REMARKS.

Note: Like Faith, unbelief brings its own reward.
