IF NOT NOW, WHEN?
What are you waiting for?
This past Sunday, we were blessed by a powerful and timely word from Rev. John Korsah (Ghana), Associate Pastor at ICGC Christ Temple, as he challenged us to stop postponing what God is calling us to do.
📖 2 Corinthians 6:1–2
«“Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”»
Drawing from the story of the four lepers in 2 Kings 7:3, we were reminded that there comes a moment when we must move from thinking to deciding, and from deciding to taking action.
THINGS THEY DID:
1️⃣ They Asked a Question
“Why sit here until we die?”
They recognized that remaining where they were would not change their situation.
2️⃣ They Considered Their Options
They looked at their circumstances and realized they had to make a choice.
3️⃣ They Made a Decision
⏳ Time waits for no one.
A decision has to be made, because simply thinking about change is not enough.
4️⃣ They Acted on Their Decision
They took a step of faith.
It is possible to make a decision and still never take action. Until you act, nothing changes.
💡 Never allow fear to take control.
Be prepared to move forward regardless of the circumstances. Faith requires action.
The question is not only “What should I do?”
The question is:
“IF NOT NOW, WHEN?”
Let us stop waiting for the perfect moment. Take the step. Take action. Move in faith.
📖 “Now is the accepted time; now is the day of salvation.” — 2 Corinthians 6:2
We were also reminded of the blessing of grace, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit.
🙏 May we have the courage to act when God says, “NOW.”
