THE HOLY SPIRIT OUR PRAYER PARTNER & INTERCESSOR!!
_"Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered."_ *Romans 8:26 KJV*
When Jesus left the disciples He promised them not to leave them as orphans but will send them a helper.
As we see in the Gospel of John The Holy Spirit comes to convict of sin, Righteousness & Judgment as well as lead believers into all Truth (John 16:8-14). There's so much a believer can get and achieve through the Holy Spirit.
However a closer walk and fellowship with The Holy Spirit reveals much more to a believer that our carnal minds cannot comprehend.
One of these revelations is understanding The Holy Spirit as our Prayer Partner & Intercessor.
*Our Intercessor;-*
_"And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him."_ *Isaiah 59:16 KJV*

This verse has been interpreted by so many Bible scholars in so many different ways but if you look closely you'll realise that God The Father, Son & The Holy Spirit all played a major role in the events of this scripture.
When God couldn't get an intercessor The Holy Spirit took an Intercessory role to enable the Arm of God to bring Him salvation.
Every time we read about the Holy Spirit in the Bible we see Him always playing a major role of *intervention* between us & God in all our engagements. This is to mean there's nothing we can do in relation to God without the involvement or intervention of the Holy Spirit.
Even Jesus Christ while on earth had to rely on The Holy Spirit in all His engagements (Luke 1:1, Acts 10:38).
If The Holy Spirit can help us connect to God better, how much more powerful would that be when we allow Him to get involved and intervene in our prayer lives. Better still, make Him our everlasting prayer partner. Then and only then will our prayers yield great results with the understanding of the scripture of Rom. 8:26.
*The Spirit's Prayer Room;-*
When Jesus taught the disciples how to pray He instructed them to get into their inner closet, close the door & talk to God (Matt. 6:6). Everyone who connects with God in prayer has a prayer chamber or place of seclusion where they go to pray. Even Jesus would quite often separate Himself to a secluded place to pray (Matt. 14:23).
So coming to think of it, wouldn't the Holy Spirit as our intercessor also have a place of prayer? _(This requires spiritual understanding to comprehend)._ The Bible speaks explicitly that our bodies are the Temple of The Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 6:19). That would make our spirits the inner chambers of spiritual intimacy.
No wonder the Bible says that the Holy Spirit dwells in us & testifies with our spirits that we are children of God (Rom. 8:11, 16).
It is with this understanding that we are instructed always to Walk in the Spirit, Live in the Spirit & be led by The Spirit (Gal. 5:16, 18, 25).
From the above understanding, our partnership & intercession *WITH* The Holy Spirit will therefore always take place in our spirits.
*Prayer Partnership with The Holy Spirit;-*
_How can one pray together with The Holy Spirit & make Him His/Her daily prayer partner?_
As much as the Holy Spirit always intercedes for us with groanings that can't be uttered, we need to always make Him an *ACTIVE* participant in our daily prayers.
How to do this is by maintaining a close intimacy with Him in our daily lives. In Galatians Paul explains this as; *_Walking in The Spirit, Living in The Spirit & being Led by The Spirit._*
I would simplify this as follows; *_Maintaining a daily uninterrupted intimate fellowship & communion with The Holy Spirit._*
When this happens, then only through our daily conversations with The Holy Spirit can He easily guide us into all Truth (John 16:13) including prayers, in addition to praying with us and interceding for us.
Hope this teaching guides us and helps us maintain a healthy Prayer Lifestyle with The Holy Spirit. HALLELUJAH! 🙌🏾
